The greater was super busy but handle herself well. I did see someone rolling silverware and didn't stop to help the greeter with cash,seating,or clearing tables. As a retired restaurant worker who worked mostly front of house and some back of the house. It was truly saddening to not see one manager up front helping their front workers. To see a father with 2 young kids watch me and another table get our food because his server was not getting help she needed due to have a big table. In fact my table and the other table were eating before his server even got his order😱🤔😔. A greeter should know better to seat young kids with a server who is not able to handle it. It's not fair to the young kids, father, other guest ,or server. As servers we want to do our best but big tables take alot of time. I was done eating, at the point of cashing out before his food came. I felt bad enough I paid for his food. The server he had also had the responsibility of passing that table but didn't. My server was amazing. She was right next to the dad. The only down fall is I didn't see team work at all from her!!!😒 As far as her taking care of me she was excellent. The food and coffee were perfect. My server and the greeter rocked during that busy time! All my stars are for the greeter, my service at my table,restrooms,food, and coffee. The reason it's not 5 star is due to lack of team work. Not seeing a single manager during that busy time being an example to their workers. Guiding them to be their best. I was there for an hour. The dad and young kids mentioned earlier where seated before I got there. Just so you understand how long he waited. Read moreOur waitress was really awesome! Some of the other staff? Not so much! One in particular. Hence, the 2 stars. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium rare, which was perfect, and delicious! My buddy ordered the same thing and ended up with a chop steak (basically hamburg!) (to late to fix the order. Plus I would either have to have waited for his to come and let my food get cold, or he would have to eat his dinner after mine was done and I would have to sit there and watch him eat. Google says they close at 8:30. We got there at 7:45. Found out that they actually close at 8:00. Which wasn't our fault. I let them know about it being posted on Google for 8:30. We had already scheduled a meeting for dinner. My friend came from out of town over an hour away. Nowhere else open by the time we would leave and go find something (which, of course, is not what we had planned). They need to honor their posted times, whether on the door or on Google. Maybe they should just stay open for another half hour or to not encounter these sorts of situations, at least until they can stop blaming Google for it. I'm sure it is the website developers fault, but that doesn't help patrons whenever that is the primary way in which we collect information before we go to a restaurant. Especially these days!
Not sure how you can mistake a sirloin steak for chopped steak? But he ate it anyways. Read moreSeated very quickly at a table that was just cleaned and the table and seats were left SOAKED. The food that we ended up with was OK and when we did see our server he was OK BUT ……….. Ceiling tile missing with insulation hanging out over top of the tables where people were eating. The windows were absolutely filthy inside and outside and the divider windows The menus were nasty with food stuck inside of them. The walls were really dirty(hand prints and food) And it don’t look like anything has been wiped down in months. The floor was in need of a good cleaning all over. Under our table was toast and silverware and trash. The seat was ripped and patched with tape that is peeling up and stuck to my pants. We saw a couple other seats this way. The bathrooms were in need of some attention. We think our server went on break for a while because we waited for 20 minutes to get out bill. Other employees playing grab a@# and carrying on in the lobby (an older gentleman that is a server and a younger girl) When we paid the girl behind the counter were nice to the people on the phone. She never did say anything to us. We have been there many times in the past and the place is always a mess but it was a complete nightmare today. The place is in need of some management. And the short handed due to COVID excuse can’t be used because there were plenty of employees. Just nobody to lead them.
All in all if I could give them a negative star rating I would today . Probably never make the mistake of going back...
