Denny's — Restaurant in Ohio

Service and food were horrible wont be going back to this location anytime soon. I ordered the appetizer sampler or pick 4 and my food was dripping in grease some of my food was way over cooked and queso chips were so covered in grease they were soggy and almost see through. I didnt speak with the manager that night bc she was talking to our server about something random and just complaining about every little thing on the diner floor up at cash registers which happened to be right next to the booth my fiance and i were sat at! Not professional at all i as a prior server for other resturants i would have never served the food to a table that was put infront of us but we ate what we could of our meals because my fiance and i were hungry just wanted a nice meal together after working all day before coming home. The server we had acted like we were a burden any time we asked her to get anything for us such as a drink refil or condiments and she had the same type of attitude with all the other tables she was serving around us. My fiances milkshake was like someone just blended milk in a cup the consistency of it was so thin and he said it even had a bit of freezerburned taste to it. We generally dont complain or write bad reviews unless the service or food or something was horrible because lets face it everyone has bad days but for the whole crew to be off and so unprofessional is not right at all. We just wanted a nice relaxing quick bite to eat before going home and we left so disappointed about our service we recieved and were still hungry bc more than half of our meals were not edible and we left there more stressed about our day than we went in there as which shouldn't have been the case. If i go back to a Denny's again it surely wont be this one unless some major changes are made ill drive the extra miles to go to the one at the pilot truck stop station which ive always had amazing service at. Sad that u dont expect great service and much at a truck station resturant and every time ive been to that one thats attached to the pilot ive had exceptional service at it and tipped well each time! Going here was by far the worst service ive had in a long time from any resturant going to a fast food place i get far better service than i had here and at least their food isnt sopping w grease! There was literally a puddle of grease under my food on top of the waxpaper they used in the basket...

Caught on bad day cook calls in dishwasher walks one new waitress one experience waitress. And a ex waitress now manager them ladies waa doing good well mngr and new waitress tho the hold orders call was made. Madison did great job.exp waitress kept playing houdini in middle crisis. Mgr never cooked b4 was cooking. Meats and all. I commend her as vegan, she still got in there and did it and after calm down as my salmon tastes just same flavor as guys steak b4 me a few orders. Now I didn't get mad I explained how fix and why you do things so say like my dad can't eat pork the bacon for my salad cooked same griddle. He would got hives. She did great job thanked got orders finished . And begun cleaning closing. I'm a trucker I love food . More point I have a youtube channel for cooking. Paladinsmeats eats and drinks. I am not best by far. And I hope get my food business going here in few yrs. And get out one rig for a smaller one lol. Food truck. But we all learn. And tho I had wait I seen little bit of issues from leaving 2 day new waitress to tend to tables getting food same time and try check on folks. Madison if u see this I said u made thru today u can do it tomorrow keep up the ethic customer service and attitude you will go far. Even management some point. Sorry for long winded review. But had to say tho closing early and waiting to order aspect there is great...

I believe in giving 2nd chances but my experience tonight was horrible.

We waited 20 minutes to be seated and there was only maybe 5 tables filled after we were finally seated I had to move to the same side of the table as my honey because we were freezing and we had coats on. I had ordered a bourbon burger with just tomato sauce and cheese when my order was bought out it was just cheese and tomato on bread and I told her it was not right I had ordered a bourbon burger with just tomato sauce and cheese she took it back after she apologized and came back with turkey lunch meat with cheese and tomato and I told her it was not right I had ordered a bourbon burger with just tomato sauce and cheese she had said it was her fault she forgot to put down that I wanted a burger so here I am waiting on my food to get done and after being there for one and half hours I asked for my order to be placed in a to go box because my honey was done eating. While we waited for our check I grabbed a couple fries out because I was starving and they had taken the fries and put them in the deep fryer to be reheated and now they are over cooked and stuck together. My coffee was cold after served. I will not...
