This was one of my worst experiences in a pizza shop. The ordering process was confusing at best. The signs are not very easy to understand. I asked a few things and the employee left to go ask someone else. He was alone and clearly new, while two others were in a back room somewhere. He never really did answer me. The toppings are not listed anywhere, and this poor new guy should not have been left alone. We watched as a tiny flat piece of dough was skimpily spread with sauce and our cheese was measured out on a scale. There was barely enough cheese to cover the whole pie. Our pizzas were laid in the oven, and we checked out. In the meantime, we had to tell them 4 times we were dining in. A line formed and another guy came out, made their pizzas and put them in next to ours. Ours were in too long or forgotten. They were dry and burned, yet the mountain of peppers on mine were crunchy and raw. Black crust, black dust on the bottom, very little flavor in the sauce. My husband's had so much black ash on the bottom there was a huge pile of it he scraped off. My pizza was not cut through at all, and plastic utensils do not cut well. We ate as much of the food that was edible. I picked my peppers off. We were both hungry, had paid for it and just wanted out of there and to go home after this. And I never even mentioned the ridiculous prices! My husband threw the receipt away because he knew how mad I was, that I would erupt at the total. I like supporting small businesses, and at the moment I wished we had just gone to a chain pizza shop. That's how bad this was.
Bottom line, and I worked retail and customer service for over 25 years... Do not ever throw a new employee on the floor, alone, between lunch and dinner where he has to keep walking away to ask other people questions. It was NOT his fault. He was very polite to us, and was nervous. Whoever the two other people working there were, they should be ashamed of themselves. If you throw a pizza in to cook, you have to make sure it is taken out in a normal time frame. It was so dry, crunchy and burned, it was such a disappointment. Whoever makes the decisions on topping portions must be an idiot. $9.99 for a small pita size dough and barely any sauce or cheese is a complete ripoff. I'll never come back here again.
Rethink your business practices.
Sorry for the gross half eaten food photos....
Read moreIt was slow considering the amount of customers were in the store. The 3 employees there at the time didn't acknowledge people who were waiting for awhile and to me that's a bad experience. The food however, once we got it was another story as it was fantastic.
On a completely unrelated note, I am not sure how often or if the check the bathrooms. The men's room was locked for at least the hour we were there with noone inside. The toilet in the women's restroom wouldn't flush so the kids came to get me, it was a one person bathroom so they waited at the door and I went in and fixed it as the bowl was full of... toilet things. I opened up the tank and reattached the flapper (you're welcome) and they were then able to use the...
Read moreVery sad that hours have go e back to close at 8pm. The employees practice was to put up all chairs, turn off lights , turned off the open sign, and putt away all counter topping items and presenting they were closed at 8 pm as the door sign had not been changed to avoid customers the last hour. The increase hour change until 9 never had a chance due to employee sabotage. We witnesses this on numerous occasions when coming in knowing they should still be open, and them admitting yes they are still open, the sign on the door just had not been changed. They acted like we intruded because they had to get everything back out and serve us and each time they served soggy pizza with trying to...
