I would give this place a -50 if I could. My daughter and I walked in and paid for two drinks. I then decided to order a lemon loaf. I was charged and then told that they didn’t have any and asked if I wanted anything else. I simply said no and asked if they could refund my money. The barista asked the manager for a refund and she responded saying that they had a no-refund policy. This is a bold face lie, and not a Starbucks corporate policy. She then told me I could have a frozen lemon loaf which I did not want and asked for a refund again. The barista with blonde hair and glasses refused to give me a refund and was entirely rude. I left the store furious and called the corporate Starbucks number immediately. I had exceptional service was confirmed in my knowledge that this is not a corporate policy and was refunded immediately. That store and barista or manager are thieves and should be ashamed of themselves. THIEVES red the reviews carefully. Starbucks is expensive and pride’s itself on customer experience. You work hard for your money and can choose where to spend it. Do not spend it there. Got somewhere else where honesty and Integrity are core values. Read moreOn June 6, 2025 at 2:30 PM, I was driving through Cambridge with others along with me. I stopped and ordered 2 specialty drinks and a cookie. The total was $14.95. When I went to pay, I thought I saw $19.95, so asked for the receipt to verify. It was $19.95. The cashier had added a $5 gratuity charge without asking me. When I questioned him about this, his response was “I asked you if you had questions”. I said had not authorized that gratuity. He said, again “I asked you if you had a question” and I said I did when I saw the receipt. He didn’t offer to fix it or get the manager. I called the manager to tell her what happened and that I was not happy with the charge. There was no “I’m sorry” or any offer to fix the charge. I was traveling with others, so did not have time to stay and argue. I didm’t get asked how much I would have tipped, they added this charge. A 40% gratuity. A bit steep if you ask me. I wondered how many others, especially those who are traveling have been cheated by this particular Starbucks...
Read moreAs I was passing through the area around 3:30 on Monday, May 13th, I stopped in to get a drink for myself and a sandwich for my twin boys. The young woman with dark hair actually complained about me in earshot. I forgot to ask for no whip when I ordered and then asked if they could put no whip on it BEFORE the drink was made and ask them to cut the sandwich after it was cooked because I didn't see any plastic knives so I could do it myself. She agreed to both requests but then complained about it as I was standing there. I would rather have been told no than ridiculed and embarrassed.
