We've visited various Cracker Barrel locations and this was, by far, one of the best locations we've ever dined in.
Upon entering their country store, you're met with an array of seasonal decor & apparel which is beautifully curated to catch the eye. If I did not practice self-control, then I'd be walking out with hundreds of dollars worth of gifts for family, friends and myself. I love how their inventory contain items that are unique, charming, wholesome, and stylish. Their items are well stocked and orderly, too.
For our dining experience, it was very straightforward. We stopped by for dinner on a weekend and was surprised that we were able to be seated right away. The hostess and waitress were very accommodating for our big family. I wasn't able to catch our waitress's name, but she was friendly, respectful, patient, and attentive. She was able to bring out our food fairly quickly, which was hot & fresh. We ordered the chicken pot pie and kids' mac n cheese, grilled cheese sandwich and chicken tenders. We were surprised that the kids' serving sizes were pretty big portions, but there were no complaints on our end. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
The last thing I'll comment on is their restroom. It's one of the cleanest of all the Cracker Barrels we've visited. No smells! It was also surprisingly spacious. There is a changing table right outside the stalls and next to the sinks.
Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Would highly recommend for anyone...
Read moreWorst experience. Our waitress Lindsay (her apron said Lindsay but the check said Lisa not sure what her name actual is because she never introduced herself. She was a red head.), she was the worst waitress. I was with someone and they were in the bathroom. She brought water after I requested it and then came back and asked if we were ready to order. My lunch partner wasn't even back from the bathroom. I ordered coffee and she brought it after we were done eating. She kept rushing us to order and once we got our food she would come ask if we were ready for our check. Literally we had our food for 5 minutes and she asked if we were ready for the check. I asked for blueberry pancakes and she brought me plain pancakes drenched in blueberry compone. I said it looked nothing like the picture and I didn't want them. After she serviced another table she asked if I wanted something else. I said yes just regular pancakes and she brought back the original blueberry pancakes I had asked for. We felt rushed and like we were inconvenience for her. She wasn't like that with the table across from us. I hate to say it's race, but we were the only 2 POC in there and it just felt like we were out of place. Everyone else was nice. The manager checked on us and was super friendly. If you get Lindsay as a waitress you're better off going to McDonald's. They have better consumer service than she gave. I wouldn't suggest...
Read moreFirst of all. The staff were outstanding. However, our experience was marred, by an other patron's continued us of coarse language. It was heavily salted with " F-Bombs" , and slightly fewer "GD" this and that. He sat with 3 others, spoke with a loud voice, and, although twice yelling my wife that he would cease, continued to use extremely coarse language in your family restaurant. After I approached him.to complain he told me that he had the freedom to do so and that EVERYONE talks like that. The staff did move them farther away, but in my opinion they should have been denied service and shown the door. What had been a pleasant breakfast break (with outstanding service,) became a nightmare. We quickly finished our meal and hurried out of the restaurant fearing a parking lot confrontation. Surely your restaurant chain should establish, or enforce if you already have, the policy of quickly removing from your family restaurant those who wantonly use such language...
