I'm despondent to give this place such a low rating but after a few incidences I have to say something. First time was they misplaced my order which I would normally understand but when I got there the place was near empty and not as busy as it usually is. Then another visit for an anniversary and the portion sizes changed overnight, the rolls when down to the size of a few quarters stacked on top of each other. Called another take out with a simple order but the wait time was over an hour, as we love the food we thought "It would be worth the wait" fast forward an hour and a half later to be told again they can't find my order and had to wait another hour for my food. Toughed it out and eventually got my order but the rolls we're obviously rushed and falling apart and the soup was so salty not even a bottle of water could fix it. Decided to give this place another try and the food is still the one factor keeping me coming back, simple order again, waited 45 minutes and was told YET AGAIN they cannot find my order I have really tried to love this place but its just not happening. I got a discount card from the manager for $5 off my next order which I tried using again but my order was not to be found. The decor is interesting, the lights keep going out and half the restaurant is unlit, management is nice and understands the frustration we feel. Read moreWe’ve been regular customers for many years and even now during the pandemic we have been doing takeout about once a week. The food is usually consistently good and fresh and the portion sizes until recently have been good. 2 weeks ago my wife and I placed our usual order which before tip is usually about $100.00. The food arrived and we were very disappointed with the portion sizes. They seemed about half the regular size so I called to complain but got no answer so I called again still no answer so I left a message with my phone number but didn’t receive a call back. I was so disappointed that I didn’t order again for almost 2 weeks. Finally I decided to give them another chance, so, tonight I called and explained to the woman who answered the phone what had happened the last time and she apologized and seemed to be very surprised at what I told her. She said she would talk to the owner and let him know about my concerns. Anyway, I went ahead and placed my order and when it arrived home it was the same mini size again. I am so disappointed, I have never written a review before but I honestly feel robbed, to pay over $100.00 for what looks like about $10.00 worth of food and for the second time even after I brought it to there attention? Read moreI arrived on Friday evening @6:45pm and was going to have dinner here. I seen a new review from what seem to of been a loyal customer. It was one star. I didn't let the review get to me and showed up with excitement of trying sushi that I've been craving. The place looks decent and small with dim lighting while I walked inside, but the main reason why I went was for the food. I walked in and the lady asked if I had a reservation... it doesn't show anywhere in their info about making a reservation or else I would of done it a couple days before when I found out about this place. She said it'll be an hour wait. The place was closing in an hour and a half. She started making excuses about their printer being out and writing the orders by hand to get rid of us. I told her we'll place an order to go and again with the "it'll take an hour to get the order ready because of our printer and have to write everything by hand." She turned around and walked away before I was able to say my decision, hence knowing prior to my second request that she wanted to get rid of us. I wanted to place the order and go back to pick it up, but I'm glad I walked away the moment I seen she didn't care.
