This was a must stop for us while we were in Ojai, because this coffee shop had been featured in Easy A!! It turned out to be one of my favorite coffee shops I’ve ever been to, hands down!!
It’s in downtown Ojai, on the corner of a cute building with a few other shops. The inside is surprisingly large, considering the small entrance. I loved the aesthetics inside with the bronze color themes and the menu written in big letters! It was so beautiful and charming and relaxing!
They had many options for food and drink, and we got ourselves an Italian soda since it was a hot day, as well as a chocolate chip cookie! They had plenty of flavors to choose from for the soda, and it tasted refreshing and delicious! The chocolate chip cookie was by far one of the best cookies that we ever had, we both agreed! It was big and soft and mushy and melted in your mouth! Absolutely wonderful!
We sat down on some couches they had by the entrance. There was so much comfortable seating everywhere and people working on their laptops. It looked like the ideal hang out and study spot!
I loved this place! Wonderful and friendly service, delicious drinks and food, comfortable seating, and a lovely ambiance and atmosphere! I want to come back so bad, I...
Read moreHoly moly was the coffee we got here the other day BAD.
We originally ordered the blended mocha. But at first taste we knew something was off. It was super watery (not nearly enough ice) and tasted of stale, burnt coffee. I immediately asked for a replacement and opted for the iced vanilla kind... And the replacement was just as bad. It was laughably bad and hardly resembled anything that came close to being coffee.
I wouldn't have cared so much. Usually i was just avoid ever returning to that business again. What REALLY stung is that they think they can charge premium prices for their coffee. WHY? Beats me.
How much did the monstrosity cost me?? Almost 9 bucks! Yeesh!
To top it all off, the inside of this place smalled really dank. Like a homeless guy had been hanging out all morning. It smelled NOTHING of coffee. They were brewing a fresh pot while i was there and i got nothing.
Yeah, i hate to say it, but even Starbucks is miles and miles a better alternative to this place. Just go literally anywhere else and you'll...

I ordered an acai bowl and my husband, a fresh bearpaw. (He had a choice of a fresh or day old). Everything we had was excellent. I really enjoyed the acai bowl, which was plenty to eat. Berries and granola on the top and bottom of the bowl with acai puree sandwiched in between.
We both had a 16 oz cappuccino. Excellent coffee, and the foam was thick and had staying power through to the last sip. I opted for my coffee in a porcelain mug, which makes it more special. For whatever reason, hubby always gets a paper cup.
Many people had their laptops and were working/surfing with their breakfast. Local art was hanging on the walls for sale.
If you are looking for a cute local eatery/coffee joint, this is the place....
