Rains Department Store — Local services in Ojai

This was my family's first time visit to Ojai. Enjoyed walking around town visiting the various shops specially the ice cream store. Rains was also a favorite place, they had such a wide range of products to choose from and also an extremely friendly staff. One employee stood out among all the rest, he was extremely helpful in locating the different items we were looking for, we did not get his name but he would be hard to miss as he stands about 6'5.a very knowledgeable and polite young man. My husband and I love this store! We have been assisted by many who work at the store and have always been treated wonderfully. If a special order is requested, they are prompt and "get it right" the first time. The merchandise is well selected and the range of sizes is very good. The durable goods are nice quality items and they always offer a few unique pieces that tantalize.

Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience here trying to return a defective item. Zyliss Smart Touch Salad Spinner worked fine for a month or so and then started slipping.
