I have lived in Ojai for about 7 years, and in that time I have experienced on 3 occasions that this restaurant has certain prejudice towards some. First time was about 4 years ago while trying to celebrate after a youth soccer season, we went here to eat and were told that a server had gone home and were short handed so that area was not being served. We went somewhere else and as we came back to our cars we saw that the area was occupied by people (i.e. not our race). Second time my uncle came to visit and we took them to downtown Ojai, as we strolled down my uncle decided to eat at this place. So we entered and as soon as we finished eating we were told that there was a reservation for our table so if we would like they could put us on a waiting list to be re-seated. Third and last time was 5-26-19 three couples all the same race, we went and consumed $200+ and as we asked for one last pitcher of beer we were told that we had reached our limit and could not order anymore. So that said this place has bad practices, I hope nobody else has these experiences. I am all for local businesses growing but can not stand by a business that works like this. Everything in THIS EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT!!!

Upon walking in, we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly Hello, and allowed to choose our own seat.

Ashley, our server took exceptional care of us, even seeing to a little extra toppings on our appetizer, the Potato Wedges.

We enjoyed a lively and thriving business that places its guests and customers first, and it shows, as several parties came in over he next hour, keeping the staff hopping!

The food was beautiful, from the salad to the woven edges of my calzone...it was as pleasing visually as it was on the tastebuds.

The portions were excellent, as we both left with boxes to enjoy tomorrow, and left room for dessert.

All in all, Ojai Pizza Company was every bit as awesome and fun as I had read online and I am thrilled to have come in.
