Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Okeechobee

Normally I would give Jersey Mike's Subs a five-star rating, however they truly let me down today again. My husband and I went in there and ordered two steak and cheese subs we asked for lettuce and tomato and mayonnaise to be put on the sandwiches. The lady wrote up the order gave it to the guy fixing the sandwiches and he proceeded not to pay one bit of attention to what we had asked for. (Because it's a hot sandwich you can't see what they're doing because you're not standing at that area.) So the young guy proceeded to make our sandwiches and didn't put on any lettuce, tomato and didn't put on any mayonnaise. Instead one end of the sandwich had a big blob of mayo but it wasn't spread out and it was only one Big blob! When we got home and saw this we were very disappointed with Jersey Mike's subs. Had we lived closer to the sub shop we would have gone back but I'm not driving 15 miles there and 15 miles back again.

So my only tip is since you can't see what they're doing is to make sure you ask before you accept the subs if they put on it what you asked for!!!

So I will give them one more shot at it at some point in time. And hopefully the owner and manager will see this post and tell their people to pay attention to what someone's ordering. This was the second time that my order wasn't right one more time...

Jersey mike’s might be a sub shop but that place does more than make sandwiches . . Hurricane Irma destroyed a lot of homes last year in Sebring , okeechobee , lake placid ,etc. and took a lot of first responders away from their families for clean up and rescue purposes when they needed them most. And standing at that register yesterday watching this man thank us for opening our doors in okeechobee and donating all that food to first responders just out of greatfullness for their bravery and sacrifices, as tears rolled down his face made me so happy to have been a part in that . Food establishments can often be a difficult place, but this place truely does Give to Give .. not Give to Get. And we ask nothing in return except to spread the kindness and I think...

Ordered a larg steak and cheese with mushrooms for 21.00.. you would think for 21 dollars it would be stuffed full but you be wrong, it’s was very skimpy. It tasted like old grill grease like they didn’t clean the grill for days. Next, Sunday I ordered online and was supposed to be ready at 1:24 so you you assume that 25 minutes would be long enough for one sub..but you would be wrong. I had to wait an additional 15 minutes, so it wasn’t ready until 1:40. It was Safe to say that the owner or management wasn’t present at the time as the three kids walked around at a turtles please looking lost.. I won’t be returning to Jersey Mike’s it’s not worth the money, quality...
