McDonald's — Restaurant in Okeechobee

This is by far one of the absolute worst locations on the entire planet. There is always a problem. Always a reason why they don’t have fries, soda, ice, you name it. It’s a 24 hour location with a drive through that magically goes out of service frequently. Then when you are forced to go into the lobby, nobody will come to the front to help you. So if you use the kiosk and pay with a card, congrats; you’ve just made a donation to the McDonalds foundation. Tonight the drive through was magically closed once again. In the lobby there was a hoard of angry customers that had been waiting over 30 MINUTES for food and drinks. At one point, someone finally came to the front and said there was no more food before disappearing mysteriously into the bathroom, never to be seen again lol. The entire lobby full of roughly 15-20 angry customer that had already paid for food they had been waiting 30+ minutes for, only to be ignored by the people that ventured close to the front. The people behind the counter just pretended they couldn’t hear or see the entire lobby full of furious customers. Orders, when they finally started coming out; came out half filled and it quickly became a situation where you got what you got and that was that. Absolutely appalling behavior on the employees part. Someone needs to fire the entire staff at this location and do a total overhaul with regard to hiring competent and capable workers to tend this location, day or night. If I owned a franchise and my employees were costing me business by turning people away, ignoring them when they came inside, shutting down my drive through m, etc; I’d definitely have a problem with it. If I could’ve given this location no stars just know i would’ve. Also, it’s so filthy I wouldn’t let my dog eat anything...

The McDonald's in Okeechobee Florida on Highway 70 East. Me and my family were ordering dinner at McDonald's in drive-thru. We were in the Drive-Thru for 35 minutes. When we arrived at the paying window we paid for our food. Then proceeded another 10 minutes to the pickup window. Where we sat an additional 17 minutes. My wife knocked on the window. To request our money back we had to go somewhere in a hurry something they were not in A hurry that is. To the little dorky blonde headed boy that worked at the pickup window son you need to grow a pair my wife simply requested for the money back but no he had to say oh you can't talk to me that way I'm going to call the sheriff's department have a trespassing warrant served. I got two words for you f u and McDonald's. if all that takes is to piss you off is a woman asking for her money back you don't need to be working a window son cuz you going off to piss off the wrong person one day and they going to Jack your little pretty Jaw for you cuz you're lucky I was on the passenger side Of the truck. we got our money back with no incident the manager come to the window and gave us our money back but they need to straighten that little blonde headed young man out because some redneck man is going to take him to school. you need not to worry about us ever coming back to this McDonald's facility ever again. I rather eat dogsh-t before I frequent that...

No complaints on my food but the service is shocking at times. Thewoman behind the counters literally stand there while your trying to get their attention. I've asked a question and was told she "wasnt a cashier" and walked away and all I asked was if something had onions on it. I've seen the girls that work at the registers literally yelling back and fourth with customers arguing with them about their orders on several occasions. Including yesterday when a cashier actually told a customer to go F herself because the woman said her order was wrong. And she kept it up the whole time I was there even after the customer left she was still carrying on about her and making fun of her. Thankfully I didn't have my Kids with me to hear her go on like that but that's still unacceptable. Makes me wonder what she says about me when I leave. I went today and she was working and i almost didn't go. This doesn't stop me from going but thats only because it's the only one in town that I know of. I don't buy out much but when I do I don't want to worry that the workers are going to insult our embarrass me or take an hour for a coffee like it...
