Read my review before crossing WENDY'S off. I love WENDY'S. BUT, this restaurant #00004201 in Okeechobee, FL was disaster with a capital D.
When I arrived there was trash on the sidewalk. Inside the cashier and another worker were carrying on at the register about something. I think the guy was trying to pay for his own lunch from behind the counter. All the while, customers were waiting either to order or get their food. BTW long wait for food. Probably 5 or more minutes. Cashier was not paying much attention as she waited on each customer. She seemed distracted. When I went to get my drink from the fancy Coke machine I found there was no diet Coke. No diet Coke at all. Not even caffeine free. No Sprite Zero, no diet Fanta, no diet soda at all. Ended up with unsweetened tea. Oh, and no napkins. So, I told the cashier the napkin dispensers were empty. Guess what. They were empty because there weren't any napkins in the store at all. She did tear me off a couple sheets of paper towel from behind the counter.
There's more, but, I'm tired of dising one of my favorite fast food...

Service was attrocious. They screwed my order up twice and gave me attitude for pointing out they screwed it up (I ordered through the kiosk and know it was entered correctly but still they managed to not get my sandwiches right). The "saucy" nuggs were definitely not saucy.
The men's room was disgusting.
It was maybe an hour into lunch and the condiment station was pretty much empty - no lids, no straws, no napkins. When I asked for those items, I was questioned if they weren't "out there". Clearly not or I wouldn't have asked her to put her phone down and help me.
This store lacks leadership. A lot of young, snarky girls are employed here and they clearly don't like to work. We are over being thankful for you showing up. If you want a job and a paycheck be pleasant, smile, and treat your customers right.

   Read moreWas terrible service. Person on counter was making repetitive mistakes, either on the register or with orders themselves. Was needing help of night supervisor to fix them. It took us 25 minutes from the time we entered the store, gave our order and then received it. My broiled chicken sandwich was cool and dry, and my husband's was just off the grill. The drive thru was flying thru, but the line inside was stacking up like dominoes. There was no tarter sauce for the fish sandwich. A man ahead of us waited over 10 or 15 minutes for Frostys to find out the machine was broken. Was not a good night for Wendy's. đ . Maybe need an older Super to oversee the evening crew, or do a better job...
