Aspen Coffee Company OKC — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Stopped by here while out walking for a ice tea after walking 4 miles in the heat. Looking forward to the taste of a good iced tea. Says "Iced Tea" on the menu. I asked for a small. Cost $3.50 which is really high for a glass of tea. Noted it was really cloudy, she poured it out of a pitcher. Left to finish my walk and then found out it wasn't actual tea at all. It was some kind of fruit infused thing, or infused with flowers. I don't know what it was. Tasted awful. I really dislike places that advertise "Tea" and then try to give you flavored stuff with no warning. At some restaurants they will pull that and i send it back. If I hadn't already walked a ways away I would have taken this stuff back. Yuck. Coffee places are a bit pretentious on making that special cup of coffee or flavored coffee. Why can't you make a decent glass of ice tea for those of us who are allergic to coffee? If you only sell flavored teas then that should be on the menu clearly stated. What if I was allergic...

It was our first time here and the cashier was extremely rude and condescending towards my family and I for asking a couple simple questions. Once we ordered we sat down to wait for our coffee to be ready, they never let us know it was ready so after about 10 I looked over and saw it just sitting getting watered down on the counter, mind you there was only about 2 other customers in there so it wasn’t too loud or nosey to hear them say it was ready. I walked to grab my drink and there was no acknowledgment from any of the staff as they were all sitting or leaned up against the counters on their cell phones. I think the vintage vinyl and books that they have is a cool idea. However, they don’t allow refunds for scratched records, and the record I purchased ended up having some scratches. And most of the books are about weight loss.

Not wheelchair accessible. Furniture is spaced too closely not allowing a wheelchair user to pass through - especially if crowded. No toilet paper in the bathroom at all. Soap dispenser was not reachable from my wheelchair.
