This place was recommended by some friends and the style of food sounded good since I was in this part of the city. The restaurant with her signature yellow-grey color scheme stood out from the other stores in the strip along Penn Ave. The modern chic carries through into the interior with high ceiling and cozy ambience. It was not as busy as I read in some earlier reviews and therefore I was surprised that it took about 10 mins before a staff came up to the register to take our orders. We were not in a hurry but their respond time needed to be improved. I ordered the Beef Shawarma Beef Platter and the items for me and my group came quite swiftly. The food was presented in a metal tray lined in wax paper with a soda/water fountain towards the back of the restaurant. It is a narrow space with tables that can sit 4 to 5 comfortably. Larger group would have to sit at the front near the cashier. The bench in that area is not comfortable as it is narrower and causes you to slide forward. The generous portion of the food made up for the discomfort but I didn't think the meat was as flavorful as I would like. The spicy hummus did not pack as much heat as I would like either. The staff came by to check on us which was appreciated and they cleared the surrounding tables fairly efficiently. All in all, the variety of food is worth returning for a second try but I would definitely avoid peak hours due to the smaller footprint.

Shockingly good! I get the Meat Feast with almost all the extras / sauces on it & loved every bite! This place is my guilty pleasure & I go just about once a week. And, the design of the signs & the rest of the restraint is slick & very professional. I’m impressed! —— UPDATE: I hadn’t been going as often as I lost my job & had to make cuts, restaurants being one of them. There were a few times about 6-8 months ago that I’d say the taste went from an A / A+ to a B, and that also slowed down the frequency of my visits. It was still on par with any other Mediterranean food I’d had in Edmond / OKC, but my expectations were higher here. There seemed to be a lot of new faces & my biggest complaint was the meat was cut too thick & no char, so a lot of the flavor punch was missing. Very happy to say when I went for a late lunch on June 13th, not only was the service top notch, the person who prepped my meal was perfectly on point!! The fries were crispy, meat charred & the presentation of the bowl was beautiful. I was surprised I’d never taken a picture for this restaurant as it’s only 1 of 2 in all of OKC / Edmond I frequent, so I had to take a pic. I was even more delighted by the flavor. Easily in the top 3 if not #1 of all the times I’ve visited, extremely happy to know even when the owner isn’t there that the employees still do a fantastic job. I was legitimately concerned for a while, but I’ll be back more often!

First time and won't be the last. I had the classic chicken shawarma platter with Greek salad and falafel. The shawarma was served as a grilled wrap cut into sections with pickled veggies inside. That was a nice touch as was the dip that accompanied it. The salad was well dressed and the falafel was tasty. My husband also got the platter but ordered beef instead, which I liked a little better than my chicken. He ordered hummus as one of his sides. That surprised me because he's not a big hummus fan but he ate every bit of this one. I'm not in this area of town often but would definitely make a special trip to eat here again. There are other menu items I need to try.

OMG! Not sure how this place gets such high ratings. I ordered a chicken shwarma bowl and when I got home,, I opened the box and it is like tiny bits of either dried out chicken or beef. I did not want banana peppers either. This bowl is GROSS. And, I had to wait 20 minutes for them to make it. Seriously? NEVER EVER AGAIN. Go to reliable and fresh CAVA down the street. This place is a joke. Update: I did call the location and spoke to Mohamed who did apologize and shared they had been working on a 600+ item to go order. Maybe I came in at the worst possible time. He was sincerely apologetic and I appreciate that he took accountability. I like that .... shows they have values and principles. Upgrading service to 5 stars. Update: Went back to get a replacement bowl and was pleased to meet Mohammed in person and share about my experience. He is a very humble and kind man which I value in today's crazy world. They made me a new bowl with a combination of meat. The meat portion was very hearty! The babaganouj was spot on with a very nice smokey flavor. I am enjoying the bowl aa I type this. Upgrading food to 5 stars. I just hope when I return, they serve...
