Tonight my daughter and I both ordered bowls. Mine was mixed with salad/ rice, & hers was all grains. She is 12 and has been so excited to try this trendy restaurant. As the employee was making the bowls, I noticed many items were running very low and needed to be replinished- the server was scraping the metal in the bowl several times as if magically more would appear (who wants the bottom of the barrel? Yuck), & the rice seemed to look very dry. The server also charged me extra for grilled chicken because I asked for a little bit more (but he barely gave me any in the first place- not even half of a spoonful). When we got all of the way home and started eating we noticed the rice was rock hard and crunchy to the point of being inedible. It was terrible. Extremely disappointed in this experience. Thankfully, I spoke to Rico the manager and he explained that he'd coach his employees on doing better. He also offered us a replacement meal for the next day- so I can say that I will return based on that customer service piece of Rico trying to make it right. Hopefully they'll do some training...
Read moreWe were so excited to have a CAVA so close now, but the NW Expressway location is falling short. The food at this location is decent, but it is hit or miss. It can be really fresh or just needs to be replenished/replaced. Unlike some of the other locations I've been to, which are consistently good. When you are in person, there are no issues except the feeling of being rushed. My issue is placing mobile orders. I have done this numerous times, and sadly, my order has never been right. I don't understand, especially when they have the order at their fingertips and the sticker is right on the bag when you get it. I have had to ask for missing items every time or make it home without certain things because we forgot to check. Just feel like I am paying for something and getting totally cheated. I hope they can get some of these...

She arrived 2 minutes before it was set to be done and was just blatantly ignored while another man walked in after her , stood behind her, and was helped before her. They did his entire order before my girlfriend had to step up in front of him and force herself to be given some attention. When they finally acknowledged her they only said “what do you need” in an attitude. My girlfriend told him we have an online order and they hadn’t even accepted it yet… they finally got it done about 30 mins after the order was put in. The manager was also zero help. They had no one in their lobby and a few orders not being done on the screen. He did have time to get on to one of the workers for not putting stickers on bottles correctly or something dumb. Your establishment was an embarrassment...
