Maybe I picked the day that they ran out of seasoning to get takeout... To say that the food is flavorless would be an understatement. I got the chicken with cashew, orange PEEL chicken, and crab Rangoon with fried rice as sides. The crab Rangoon was crispy and had good portion of cream cheese inside. The issue was that there was absolutely no crab -flavoring or otherwise within. With a price tag of about 9.00 for 6, I feel that this should have at least crab bits in it. The orange peel chicken easily had the most flavor; unfortunately the chicken was overcooked and dry almost as though it had been microwaved too long. This along with the orange peel (yes there's actual peel of an orange in this) having the texture of taffy that was left in the car too long on a summer day leads me to recommend a revision of the microwave instruction for this dish. The fried rice tasted old and was likely just rice tossed in a wok with msg. If it wasn't brown-ish I wouldn't have been able to tell it wasn't old white rice. The last and most certainly least was the chicken with cashews dish that I had the misfortune of ordering. Keeping with consistency there was no pleasant flavor here. I'm convinced the chicken and vegetable were boiled together as they had nothing more than texture to them to let you know you actually had food in your mouth. The ODOR of this dish was terrible. Smelling of sewer water with a taste not far from. Going by reviews I have to have just gone on a bad day, I suppose. But after burning 45+ dollars in this economy I can't say I'll be back and certainly can't recommend this...
Read moreThis place has gone down hill. After being seated, we were told that we had five minutes to order on the lunch menu… and had it been an issue, we wouldn’t have ordered from the lunch menu. My son ordered chow mein. It was colorless, bland, and the chicken was akin to cadaver meat. We talked to a server and asked for the meal to be taken off of our ticket because it was so bad.. and the listless server argued with my husband about what chow me in was. I honestly don’t think chow mein should look like a plate of biohazard with premade Walmart chow mein noodles.
The fried shrimp was not deveined, and the poop veins were visible in the batter of the shrimp. Deeming this meal inedible.
The hot and sour soup was served with saltine crackers.
I don’t recommend eating here unless you’re a senior citizen looking for flavorless garbage on a plate. I will be calling the health department regarding the shrimp that wasn’t deveined.
This establishment is racist, and seems to only pander to people of the same race and to rich, old people who don’t know what good food looks and tastes like.
Servers are rude and did not engage with us until they had a check…

Read moreI have gone to DotWo twice in the last 6 weeks after not going there for years. Trip 1: Wednesday Night, not a lot of customers. Service is always really good, not overly attentive but always available. Food: Sesame Chicken - very disappointing. The amount of fried dough versus actual chicken was awful. I started cutting into the tiny bits to see if there was actually chicken in them before eating it. The sauce was good as expected.
Trip 2: Thursday night 5-6pm. Me and one other person were dining in, pickup orders were consistent. Ordered Mongolian Beef Dinner. Hot and sour soup was good, Egg roll mushy vegetables but edible, sweet and sour shrimp heavily breaded but good. The Mongolian Beef- should've been sold as a vegetable stir fry. I love carrots but it was a full plate of carrots, the sauce was watery and not flavorful, the beef was present this time, and tender, but there was not much of it. I did not take home the leftovers since my dog isn't a huge vegetable fan. Not worth $25 (with tip) Service was good.
I will unfortunately be looking elsewhere for dine in Chinese. I used to go for lunches which may be worth...
