Seoul-Nami (Kpop & Anime) — Local services in Oklahoma City

Hello, I don’t write reviews often but I recently made a purchase I’m quite disappointed with (I don’t want a refund fair is square I made the purchase). Recently labubu or wtv have been trending, my little sister really wanted one and I had her with me (first time shopping together!) I thought the price I had read was 45 dollars which is honestly believable because a lot of the product here is marked up quite a bit. I figured it was originally 30 with a 15 dollar up charge and it didn’t seem outlandish compared to their other products. It was 95 dollars, on every other store we’ve seen them, online or in person, they have been in the 20 to 50 dollar price range. I did buy it because I didn’t know any better, and I don’t regret the purchase because my sister pulled the one she wanted. I regret my 3 years of business with you. I don’t understand how you can mark up a product nearly double its original price. I appreciate this store because it carries a wide variety of merchandise but from my experience the merchandise is product that never sells and isn’t restocked. I’ve seen the same three pins and the same six keychains in my fandoms section for 2 years. Your store is cute, well cleaned and inviting; I loved all my purchases there but I don’t want to think about how much you’ve most likely “scammed” out of your customers by selling merchandise at an unprecedented price point. I’ll probably stop in time from time but that is the largest purchase you’ll ever see from me. (Edit) I might sound rude from various cursing but I do enjoy my business with you, a quick google search their price range is indeed for an unopened box 30 to 50 dollars, I’m fully aware that youre a small business which is why I’m not asking for any sort of price changes or accommodation. Being “family owned” doesn’t explain your nearly doubled price compared to other stores, I’d love (genuinely) a dive into that price tag and why it is exactly so expensive. I made this review because I was frustrated and upset with this purchase after I had seen the price range online, at mall stands, and at other nerdy stores. Belittling me and saying that I’m immature with my language is interesting for such a review so out of respect for you I have removed the words “cheap and shitty” even tho i specified that was my personal experience with the items i have bought through your store. I’m still happy with your store, its a beautiful, well maintained, and a wide variety store; I just don’t understand how being family owned doubles the price on this specific item and not everything else? it was absolutely AMAZING. as someone who adores kpop and has to typically go to target to get albums, it’s so exp to spend $35-47 on an album regularly. each album there ranges 20-30 with tax. they have lanyards, deco stickers, monsta x albums, txt, nct, wonho, ghost9, and so much more stuff. the plushies are so cute too. the employees were patient whole i took forever to pick the albums i got, and i got a free fan-made pc of my bias according to the album i bought. :) i totally would go there again. also if you’re curious, i got monsta x shape of love, and txt freeze. my luck was insane and i got beomgyu pc (bias), yeonjun mini poster (bias), and for monsta x i got a i.m/kihyun selca pc (biases) & and a kihyun polaroid, and a kihyun poster. i also got a taehyun & hyungwon pc and was so happy with my pulls. Amazing woman-owned and Asian-owned small business! They have the widest variety of kpop albums to be found in Oklahoma and are always getting the latest albums (sometimes with pre-order benefits/extras) and expanding to include older albums and different groups. Additionally, they offer holds on albums they have or have coming. They also have cute stationary, plushies, and fan-made merch available among other things. They're often holding holiday events for customers and offer free Seoul-Nami PCs of your bias with each album or lightstick purchase which is all so fun! Not to mention their staff is very kind, accommodating, and friendly! Highly recommend this place to any kpop...
