ITS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I'VE STOPPED BY LEES. WAS WITH SONE FRIENDS TRAVELLIBG ABROAD AND WE STOPPED TO GRAB SOME SANDWICHES FOR THE ROAD. FOOD OVERALL, I CAN DEFINITELY SKIP. BREAD IS WAY TOO DENSE AND HEAVY. OKC LEES HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS. THE OTHER LOCATIONS WORLDWIDE TASTES BETTER. THEIR COFFEE IS STRONG, JUST HOW VIETNAMESE COFFEE SHOULD BE. HOWEVER, WE REQUESTED LESS CONDENSE MILK (WAY TOO SWEET) BUT THEY MADE IT REGULARLY. TOO SWEET FIR OUR ENJOYMENT. WE ORDERED:

2 VIETNAMESE ICED COFFEE, LESS SWEET (2 LY CA PHE SUA DA, IT SUA) 3/5.

3 COMBINATION/VIETNAMESE COLD CUT BAGUETTES (3 O BANH MI THAP CAM) 2/5

2 VIETNAMESE PORK MEATBALL BAGUETTES (2 O BANH MI SIU MAI) 1/5. WE REQUESTED 1 W.NO HERBS/GREENS/VEGGIE. IT WAS ALL OVER STUFFED W.CILANTRO,PICKLED CARROTS/DAIKON AND RAW ONIONS. IF YOUVE SMELLED OR EATEN RAW ONIONS - ITS REALLY PUNGENT. PERSONALLY, THIS WAS JUST A NO GO FOR ME. COULD NOT ENJOY A SECOND BITE.

2 HAM/CHEESE CROISSANT/BAKED PASTRY 3/5. THE CROISSANT PASTRY ITSELF WAS DENSE FOR WHAT IT WAS. I RBR LEES BEING WAY MORE LIGHT, AIRY AND FLAKEY. IT WAS VERY GENEROUSLY FILLED W.CHEESE AND SALTY HAM.

4 PATE CHAUD PASTRY W.MINCED PORK 3/5. SIMILAR WITH THE HAM/CHEESE CROISSANT, THE PASTRY ITSELF WAS TOO DENSE. FILLING WAS NICE - A PINCH OF SALT WOULD HELP BRING OUT YHE FLAVOURS AND ROUND IT OFF NICELY.

2 TRAYS OF FRESH ROLLS/WRAPS (2 DIA GOI CUON). LOOKS GOOD BUT WE ARE TOO FULL FROM THE BREAD TO TRY THIS JUST YET...

SERVICE IS USUALLY REALLY FRIENDLY AND QUICK. THE CASHIER TAKING OUR ORDER DIDNT SEEM TOO PLEASED. WE MODIFIED OUR SANDWICHES (REQUESTING 1 W.NO VEGGIES/GREENS, JALAPENO ON THE SIDE, AND BOTH COFFEESS TO BE LESS SWEET). Terrible Customer service!! They are cheaters and scammers!! We ordered sandwiches and they shorted us one. Went back in the next day and they refused to replace the sandwich we ordered and PAID for that they forgot to give us. So basically if you don’t check your order right there, they won’t replace It. I brought in a receipt and placed another big order, talked to the manager and he flat out said NO not replacing it!!! He was so rude and did not care about losing a customer. I’m pretty sure they do this on purpose all the time. Just horrible! And apparently if they mess up your order It won’t be replaced either. And bc I just got a RUDE reply from the manager because of this post here’s another thing I didn’t even want to mention, but was basically laughed at because I only ordered TWO sandwiches and wanted one replaced. These people clearly lack basic human skills and education!! Very low class. They need some etiquette classes and enroll in customer service classes too. I’m sorry people have “cheated” you before and you feel it is necessary to treat everyone this way but this a great way to run a business to the ground. May 24, 2025 Saturday I've been going to Lee's for years. They truly never disappoint. They have the best grilled pork banh mi..actually the first one I ever tried as a kid! We always enjoy their pastries, bread, vermicelli noodles, and sandwiches. We especially enjoy buying their pour over coffee and Lee's coffees! I will say they have been getting more expensive over the years, but so is every business. They used to have the most delicious BBQ Pork Bread that I miss so much and wish they would put back on the menu. There was a period of time where we had issues with the service when the restaurant's management was passed down to a younger family member. He was rude and arrogant when we had an issue with our order and resolved it with a very hostile attitude. It seems to have been fixed with time fortunately, because we love this establishment and were truly infuriated with that past situation. We also occasionally have issues with not having our full order, so make sure to check your bags before leaving with your to-gos!
