Northern Noodle House(东北面馆) — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

It looks like a sweet family owned store. They were very nice when we were there a few days ago, (when the virus wasn't this bad).

Overall, for what we ordered, the portion was reasonable. Both of ours had lots of noodles.

My pork rib noodles were amazingly good. It had enough flavor n lots of pork. I personally don't mind having fat on meat so I enjoy it a lot.

My husband’s noodles were a bit dry to him. So we added some of my soup base into his. Then he loved it.

This place was very nice. The lady working was so sweet and quick. We tried the noodles with soy paste and noodles with braised beef, and both were excellent. But the dumplings, Oh my gosh they were sooo good! We got the pork with Chinese cabbage fried and had to get another order because they were SO delicious. The atmosphere was also nice and they had little apple candies on the way out. We will come back just to get a truck load of those dumplings. I really can’t express how amazing they were. So happy to see the Chinese Cuisine of Dongbei (aka. Northeast China), known for its dumplings, noodles, and appetizers in China! Their appetizers are as low as $2.99 each, compared to those sold at $10-15 in traditional Chinese restaurants. Peanuts are cooked thoroughly with star anise, and seaweed is chewy, too! If you are tired of the repetition of Szechuan (Southwest China) restaurants in town, how about having some Northeast Chinese dishes at your dinner table?
