Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I am not sure how the Papa John's is still open. This is the second time I've had a major issue with my delivery. Yesterday I placed and order waited over an hour for it to arrive. I refreshed the app to see it had been delivered when in fact it HAD NOT. I tried calling the store multiple times with no answer. So I got in my car and drove there. When I arrived, there were three individuals lazily hanging around. No one had on a mask, no gloves, one individual (a woman) did not have her hair properly secured. I was livid and disgusted. After explaining my situation, there were no apologies, no real explanation but that their system showed "delivered". I explained I would not be in front of them if that was the case. That whomever delivered it did not meet me because there was not a knock, I have a doorbell, NO FOOD WAS PRESENT. That I would gladly wait to for the delivery driver with them to identify me. After all of this I was finally given a full refund. This is the worst service ever. I have never been so furious in my life. Especially, giving a place another chance and it failing miserably AGAIN. I ordered a four topping build your own pizza, the discount was -$5.00, ordered through door dash, the total online was 21 and some change. I drove twenty minutes as this was the only store that has anchovies.. yes. Anchovies. And when I got to the store I was informed they were out of anchovies, made the pizza with all the other toppings and ran me for the price of a three topping without the five dollar discount. My subtotal and total we 24 and some change. I.e, my price went up and my toppings went down. The area the store is in isn't insanely busy, there's parking everywhere, there was only one worker in the store and about five other orders waiting to go out the door. The service was prompt albeit, disappointing. They lacked the wherewithal or foresight, business mindset to at the very least call or message to verify the addition and subtraction of price and toppings was acceptable and instead assumed I wanted to pay more for less... It's disappointing. This is however only one instance and if I ever utilize this location again, I would hope for better service in the future. Called Papa John's after Pizza Hut delivered my order to the wrong house. Papa John's used to be really good, so I thought I'd give them a shot. I placed an order & was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I ordered a supreme, which was good, & a cheese, which was bland & had little sauce. I also ordered a cinnamon pie dessert pizza. It was hard as a rock, so hard that I couldn't tear it apart. It was a dark brown on top & had very little icing on it. I called the store to ask how much I'd been charged for the pie, which was $3.99. Not a large amount, but when you can only afford to treat your family to dinner out once a month, you want to enjoy it. The guy who answered the phone didn't offer to refund my pizza or make me a new one. I told him I would never buy from them again. His response? "okay...." Not worth it at all. Try Star Pizza on 39th instead. Much better food there. If the guy at Papa's had tried to make it right, I would not have even posted here. Customer service...
