Why does it always take 10 minutes just to PLACE my order in the drive through? EVERY SINGLE TIME I order I get asked to wait before PLACING my order. In the drive thru.
If it was just a few seconds each time I wouldn't have such a problem, but it's every single time and it's always more than 5 minutes just to tell them what I want. Doesn't matter how busy they are, I could be the only car in the entire parking lot.
And then they have people pull up in the drive thru. This is a normal practice at most places, but THEY HAVE A SINGLE LANE DRIVE THRU. All THAT accomplishes is trapping people in the line! I've had my food in my hand before and couldn't leave the drive thru because the person IN FRONT OF ME didn't get their food yet. YOU'VE GOT A PARKING LOT, DO WHAT BURGER KING DOES NEXT DOOR AND HAVE CUSTOMERS PARK. NOT BLOCK THE DRIVE THRU.
I would be HORRIFIED to see this if I were an investor. By the way I was able to write that entire review while waiting for my food. I also just watched the person in front of me pull back into the drive thru because 2 other cars got their food first.
You have one thing on your menu. It's chicken. Have it ready. Or do you not get enough customers for that? Probably not, it always looks dead over here.
Also these dippers are dry. It's like chewing on chicken leather.
Pick a struggle, Popeye's. You can't be expensive, slow, AND bad quality all at once. You probably need to look into...
Read moreFood was raw, not fully cooked, and no respect for the customer, always seam to never care. So sad.....
Decided to stop in and pick-up some of bites piece's, and we'll it didn't go as planned, order at 1:59pm and couldn't get my order dropped until 12min later, not to mention (3x) that dude needed to wash his hands from coming inside from smoking, and still they (cook) didn't want to move any faster, even after management told him to get it dropped, it's so sad that you have to tell a person to do the right thing and stop acting like a child that shouldn't be allowed to work until they can prove they can handle grown life stuff.
I write these reviews to open and guild ppl to do better and stop thinking wrong or being lazy. I'm so sure there's someone who will go above and beyond just because it's the right thing to do. But I have yet to find any good person with respect for what you do (job, life), I know why ppl won't give a raise for nothing now, and why they don't mind replacing works who will.
Not to mention that when workers do do a good job, area manager stop the raise or don't care enough to keep up when ppl need a raise. I know 1st hand that this is so true, I knew at least 4ppl that never got a raise until a yr later when a raise was due in 3 months, even having a store manager pit in for it and still no raise for almost a yr. It's a real lose lose battle for...
Read moreI usually don't like going during the day time but I do at times they act like their not all together during the morning shift so I truly like to wait till the night shift When Ace comes on because there always moving quickly and concerned more about the customers than the day shift. Manager Ace and his Crew Always have excellent service, Excellent Sweet Tea, Excellent hospitality, Excellent courteousness. I love this Popeye's. I stop here every Tuesday for their 2 piece special on the way to work and on the way home but I'm a regular customer during the week as well. I've tried their fish items and have been happy with it all every time. For a fast food joint, the food is excellent. The biscuits are quite delicious and moist inside. The chicken is hot, cooked through and crispy on the outside and always cooked to perfection. Their sweet tea, both with sugar and without, is good. I also think the potatoes, as well as the chicken, is much better here than KFC. Ambiance-wise, Its always homey and the great feeling of home due to the Manager Ace and his Crew. In terms of service, it's excellent and always a pleasure to watch Ace and his Crew run like a well oiled machine. If you're looking for some cheap, fast fried chicken, and get entertained in the process you can't do any better than Popeye's. So always remember, love That Chicken...
