We came here from a recommendation. I WISH we could give more stars. But honestly, it was not that great. The prices are VERY high, particularly for what you get. The 2 meals of fish we got were WAY overcooked. Severely dry. Then the shrimp coctail (some say ceviche) meal was very thin and lacked flavor. My $21 salmon meal was a small piece with barely a scoop of rice and about 6 asperagus stalks. That's it. The salmon steak looked like they used a hamburger weight on the stove for about 15 minutes EACH SIDE. Any cook worth their salt knows this is ridiculous.

While the restaurant was clean and the staff quite friendly, I just cannot relax in a place that BLASTS classic mexican music, non-stop. It was LIVE music and talented musicians too. But, it's NOT a concert. We couldn't talk or even hear the waitress. It did not stop the entire time (over an hour). One one song they literally blew a WHISTLE over and over, as if that somehow added to the song... YIKES.

I'm sorry, but I just can't recommend this place. Somewhat sketchy neighborhood too. I found myself longing for the Burger King...

So me and my boyfriend ordered drinks, appetizer and the entree letting the server know which one was the appetizer i also asked for ketchup. She brought the appetizer and about 20min she brought my boyfriends meal i waited as i was eating from the appetizer, 15min later into our conversation i realize my food had not been brought to me. I called a server near by and asked to cancel my meal since my boyfriend was almost done with his and i had satisfied my hunger with the appetizer and i was already kinda upset. He said ok 15min later the server comes out with the shrimp cocktel and i mentioned i had canceled it she said "once the order is put in there is no canceling, so you still want to eat it here or i have it put in a togo container" container i said btw no ketchup was brought to me. The place was not even full with in the time we ordered and our appetizer was brought to us a party of about 15 people came in they got there food about 3min before my food came to put table. $85 check no tip. I forced my boyfriend into not leaving a tip she did...

This place is phenomenal for some Mexican seafood. I came in with my family, pretty big party. The kitchen staff are complete professionals with the food, the presentation and how it’s cooked. They have a pretty big menu catered for families and large parties. The drinks are amazing with the garnish going over the top. If you want heat they have every level from black pepper to dragon breath. The wait staff we had for the night was Karina and David which were great. They were on top of the needs of my party. They have live music and some of the staff said they do dancing later in the night, but I don’t know anything about it, if it was just me and my wife it’s sounds great. We all had a variety of food and sushi just to pick and piece it together, I had one of the molcajate bowls. Everything tasted amazing. This is definitely a little gem worth...
