We've been waiting for this location to open to try it out. It cost us $50+ for 4 burgers, 3 fries, and 2 shakes.
Food: The burgers were good size and pretty good. My onions were burned completely black though. My husband's were not so maybe I got the bottom of the pan onions? I personally like grilled onions more done that not, but they were burned and gave my burger a burned taste, not horrible, but also not the best. I also had 2 bites of burger that had tiny pieces of bone? in it. I'm not sure if that's what it was, but it was hard and white and felt like I could have chipped my tooth 🤣 The fries were a little soggy and flavorless. We added salt and brought them home and they were better after we put them in the oven a little longer. The kids liked the shakes. The chocolate shake tasted like vanilla with hersheys syrup.
Food issues could have been due to how new the restaurant and staff were and maybe not the status quo of the chain itself.
Atmosphere: There was a fun chalkboard for kids covering one whole wall they could draw on. Some parents may like this to keep kids busy, and others may not because of chalky fingers before eating. Comfortable seating and great service.
Overall, we wouldn't go back especially with other burger places being so close nearby at similar prices.
Edited to add: management commented and sent me an email address to discuss it. I sent an email but did not hear back. This was not a big deal and this was more of a preference review vs anything major they did wrong on their end. I didn't feel like there was anything to be discussed past my...
Read moreThey have just opened. They don't even have a soda machine, so I am taking that into consideration. That said, I ordered the #1 Burger, fries and a Dr Pepper (can in this case). The total was $14 and change. I was a little surprised, but was excited to finally eat at a Tuckers Onion Burger. This was my first one to try.
When the burger came out to me it looked delicious. Nice bun, but a little thin patty. I ordered it with cheese, pickles and mayo only. Well....it was not that great. The bun was a day or two over dry. The patty had had all the juices cooked out of it. And the Mayo to burger ratio was terrible. The mayo barely covered half of the inside ring of the bun. The only part of the burger that had any moisture to it were the pickles.
The fries, on the other hand, were exceptional and plenty. Enough to share, though I didn't. Ha!
I'll give them a few weeks to get their ducks in a row and I'll give them another try. But just...

Burgers were better, service still has the same problem. Going to go to the may location from now on, more consistent over there.
OLD REVIEW
A new Tuckers location and in my opinion the location is great.
Service was okay my order got messed up but they were quick to remedy it.
The fries were fantastic and the shakes were great as well. The burgers still have that classic Tuckers look; loaded full of all of those wonderful charred onions and patties but was lacking a huge crucial thing.
Salt.
And it's not "there wasn't enough" there was absolutely no salt on the patties, or the onions. Hopefully this is brought up in a team meeting but a lack of salt on a burger doesn't make it appetizing. Even a little goes a long way.
Hopefully improvements for the staff and cooks are made. Most likely will...
