The service was absolutely horrible and the food was mediocre.
My family went in on a Friday afternoon. It was busy and we had a big party with dogs so we needed to sit on the patio. There was a wait, no big deal. They kept trying to seat us indoors after repeatedly telling them we needed on the patio due to our dogs and that we didn't mind waiting. Eventually we got a table outside but the man we had for a server behaved like we were inconveniencing him by having to wait on us. No greetings, no smiles, no recommendations. I ordered the buffalo chicken with beans and potato salad. It looked like prison food. It was just plain, unseasoned chicken breast with a little buffalo sauce drizzled on top. The menu was misleading on this plate and it didn't taste good and looked like it was slapped together so I sent the plate back and ordered something else. When the check came I realized I had been charged for the plate I didn't eat so the manager was brought over. She accused me of eating my sides (which I did not) and that's why I got charged. When I explained the food was bad, nor did I eat my sides she told me it wasn't the restaurants fault I didn't like my food and the best she could do was give me half my money back. I also work in the restaurant industry and this is not how we handle these situations at all. At my restaurant at least, if a customer doesn't like a plate, we comp it and give them something they like. Also, our server did not inform us that gratuity had already been placed on our tab so we ended up tipping on top of 18% for horrible service. $84 down the drain on bad food and bad service.
I will say the place has a good atmosphere. There is cornhole and other games outside on the patio. There is also a stage for outside music. Buffalo Grill has potential, it just needs better staff, management, and...
Read moreWe visited on a Sunday. Not sure if they were short staffed or just unusually busy but we waited over 45 minutes to be seated with open tables both inside and outside. We asked if they needed a name but they told us to just keep coming back and checking. When we finally got seated, our waitress was really nice and did well. The food was pretty good. We had Bison Burgers, Cowboy burger, tacos and the chips and queso. Everyone who had burgers said they were really good but the pulled pork tacos were really dry. We didn't get our ticket at the table but were told to just go to the register to pay (which seems a little shady) but we just chalked it up to our waitress being busy. When we were paying, I just happen to notice there was added gratuity that was never mentioned or even listed on the menu or signage as well as a non cash adjustment (no details on this either). We were a family of six but when I asked, they didn't say what the limit of party size was before the gratuity was automatically added and nothing about paying fees for paying with a debit card. We had tipped the waitress already (albeit it was the same as the added gratuity) but she didn't say anything about it. She ended up giving the cash tip back when I asked about the gratuity (Side note:we always tip well because I have been a waitress before.) I think this restaurant was a one and done for our family. With a bill of $146 for six of us, and two charges without any explanation, it doesn't seem like there is a good business practice in place. In my opinion, it's too expensive for a large family and the hidden costs were a real kicker. Two stars are more for the food and the job our waitress did (besides not saying anything about the gratuity or the added...
Read moreWalked in around 230pm on a Friday. It was very busy, inside seating was full, so they asked if we wanted to sit at the bar. We declined and they asked if we would take a barrel seat. These seats were just high tops. Not a big deal. The big deal came about 75 percent of the way into the meal. Two guests who were seated inside, came outside to stand on the porch and smoke. For the last portion of our meal we were forced to breathe in that air. I asked the waitress if it was alright for them to smoke and she said in Oklahoma they can do it as long as they were outside.
It was immediately making me sick. I'm also pregnant and had concerns about second hand smoke. The waitress offered to get the manager and my husband sent me to wait inside. There was nowhere to sit though so I stood there awkwardly.
When the manager arrived she listened as I explained that there was no one to inform us about a smoking section. She said it wasn't really a smoking section, just Oklahoma law and that it's not usually a problem. I told her it was still on the leadership to explain the possibility, as were not given the opportunity to wait for an inside table. That guests should not be exposed to second hand smoke at all, and if it's normal should be notified and the situation remedied. She began to be just give platitudes and I'm sorrys and I understands without offering any solution. It was incredibly disappointing.
On top of that the side order of onion rings as an appetizer had a low portion size and the fries served to us tasted like freezer burned air fryer fries. They were super crunchy on the outside with barely any potato on the inside.
Would not recommend. There are many small restaurants here that provide other...
