EDIT: Wow. The response from the owner says it all. My family looked miserable? Wow. How blind. Iâm not sure if you have children , but when a 9 year old and a 7 year old have waited 50 minutes for a hotdog it does get pretty miserable. Reviewers looking for food in broken bow, take heed. This is not only an establishment that takes forever and is overpriced, they also donât take responsibility for their actions and also seem to enjoy insulting the emotional state of children after 50 minutes of waiting for food.
1.) Inattentive service (sat at 11:10 trying to get the kids some pancakes and they refusedâbreakfast ends at 11. But alsoâŚitâs just inconsiderate). Also we had to go up the server stand to get any kind of refill.
2.) not good food and prices are double what online says. Cheeseburger is $15. If youâre going to pay $15 for a cheeseburger in broken bow, there are better places. Abendigos burger is $20âŚjust go there. The club sandwich was gross. The hotdog was the same one you could buy at Walmart.
3.) inside smells like a wet dog.
4.) They serve Pepsi products only. Not to be that person but who does this in 2025? Gross.
5.) update. Walked in at 11:10âŚit is currently 12:10 and we still havenât been served our food
6.) got our food at 12:20. When asked why it took so long, the waitress said that â all their food is made fresh, so it takes longer.â The âfresh foodâ? A hamburger, a kids hotdog and a club sandwich. Club sandwich was American cheese, microwave bacon, sliced ham and some lettuce. Not one of these items is a âfreshâ food item requiring an hour of prep.
7.) $43 for a hamburger, a club sandwich (so gross), and a kids hotdog.
TLDR: This place is an absolute joke and I think they buy...
Read moreThe service was great, as well ss access off the road . However I wasn't happy with the meal. Initially, we came in for breakfast however they stopped serving at 11am ( we have all day breakfast in DFW,TX and forgot it's not like that everywhere) Still ordered off the lunch/ dinner menu . Ordered chicken fried steak , green beans and loaded baked potato. The chicken fried steak was ,well a bit burnt. The green beans were tasty ,but had a strange smell .. maybe the bacon? udk .. the loaded potato has less bacon than the green beans and had a packet of sour cream on the side.. not sure how that's considered loaded ( maybe regular doesn't have these ingredients? ) Other order was a Philly cheese steak sandwich.. the cheese squares weren't even melted when the sandwich was brought out open to the table đ, hardly any onion, and one bell pepper slice. TBH I really had high hopes and wanted to like this place but the food didn't have good flavor, except the weird smelling green beans that I stopped eating because I couldn't with the smell. Maybe I would stop again for breakfast another time...
Read moreTruly just one of the most underwhelming dining experiences weâve ever had. Waited an hour for 2 simple breakfast plates, watched the people that came in after us, who ordered the same dishes, receive their food about 30 minutes before we did. If the food wouldâve come out and been decent, I probably wouldnât have even taken the time to write this review. It was terrible. Eggs not how ordered, pancake stuck to the plate it was served on, potatoes lukewarm, and saying the small biscuit was dry would be an understatement. We saw our waitress 2 times, once when we ordered, and once when our food was brought out. Gently brought up at checking out that an hour wait for 2 breakfast plates seemed a little long. Waitress said theyâre understaffed. Didnât have a whole lot to say about the people next to us receiving their food that much earlier than us when they walked in after. I hate writing a negative review for any business, but this was truly that bad. If you were looking for a place to eat in Hochatown, please donât waste your time....
