Such a shocking experience and appalling treatment by the dark haired bartender last night. I have never before experienced behavior like we did last night. My husband and I frequently visit the Olathe, KS location off of Santa Fe.
We arrived last night (Thursday, 10/2) around 11:05 p.m. We walked to the front door and noticed that it was locked. A very frustrated and rude employee made her way to the door, and aggressively opened it while muttering something under her breath.
Due to the reaction we received, we asked the employee if they were about to close before fully walking inside the second door. She looks back at us and response with “We WERE about to close before I had to come UNLOCK the door for you, but now we’re not!”. We looked around and noticed three or four individuals in the gaming area, and three other individuals at the bar drinking. My husband then apologized stating that we didn’t realize they were about to close as it was only just after 11:00 p.m. The bartender rudely interrupts and asks us what we want to drink.
After noticing several other people inside the establishment, we sat down to ordered one drink each. The bartender slams the drinks down in front of us on the bar extremely aggressively and slams the cooler door. My husband apologizes again and states that if she is trying to close that we will leave, we just didn’t know this location was closing early tonight. The bartender responds with “we close when you people stop coming in!” She then proceeds to turn all of the interior lights off around the bar and restaurant area, even though there were still 6-8 people inside. We quickly gulp down our drinks within 1-2 minutes in order to hurry and tell her we will just tap out. She replies to us that the drinks are free if we just leave.
We have lived in the neighborhood for many years along with our entire family, so we frequent this spot regularly over the past 4-5 years. We are extremely shocked by the behavior of this individual. We typically order food and drinks and tip well. We are sad to say that we will not be returning and will not be giving this place another penny...

We have never had a problem with the Spring Hill location literally ever- their food is always on point and the service is too. However- the Olathe location is always hit or miss. After our experience last night, we can say we will not return. We spent over $60 on a to-go dinner for our family and it was horrendous. We were so excited to eat everything we ordered and were let down by every single thing except the Mac and cheese. My kids cheeseburger was paper thin and crumbled. The fries were soggy and literally COLD as if they were pulled directly from the refrigerator. The lady on the phone (who was very kind) said our ready would be ready in 25 minutes, so we arrived within 15 minutes or less. But the fries were still cold. The chicken tenders were so incredibly chewy and dry. The southwest egg rolls were burnt to a crisp as if they had made them hours prior and then decided to heat them up by deep frying them again. Chewy and burnt. We never received a side of avocado ranch- however they gave us a random side of sour cream lol not sure why we would need that. I usually LOVE the honey mustard from both BB’s locations I would go so far as to say it’s world famous it’s usually that good. However this time the honey mustard was so spicy and disgusting. We threw out everything other than a few bites of Mac and cheese and the french dip. Whoever was cooking that night should be ashamed...
Read moreFor the second time the bartender has been unbelievably rude. Tonight at 6:45 when we sat down our greeting was the bartender yelling at us, "FOOD MENUS!!!! FOOD MENUS!!! YES OR NO?" "DRINKS!" "I'LL COME BACK!!" No smiles. No offering suggestions. No describing the specials. No welcome at all. Clearly she was more worried about herself than us. We just got up and left. Why would anyone spend money to be treated like that? Idk, I won't. My wife and I have both served and bartended, we understand you get busy, are in a hurry, and it's stressful... that's the job... so is being friendly. The last time we had this bartender she was clearly not sober, got in a hissy fit with a coworker and threw a dirty wet paper towel during her rage which hit me in the face then fell in my beer. She didn't offer to replace my drink or even apologize at all. That time I sent a message (not describing the issue) through the website asking Blake (owner) to call or email me so I could share what happened personally, rather than on an open forum like this. I never heard back. I can't believe anyone with such an attitude is able to find work in the hospitality business, much less keep it. Whoever this girl is, she's a terrible reflection on your business. It was such a nice place when you guys opened. It's a shame how it's slid and I hope this honest feedback helps get it turned...
