LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Olathe

Update:1/24-I order the exact ssme thing each time we eat here. It's just that my meal comes out correctly 50% of the time. Then we have to find a server or our server. My wife's meals have the same issues. Instructions given to the servers don't get to the cooks. We will continue eating here, and will not get upset if we have issues with our food. It's to be expected. Update: 9/23-Most of our dinners came came out wrong.Brown lettuce in the salad, over and under steaks, and more. Not our best dinner here. Next review below is from another time. Normally, the food and service is good. Like most all other restaurants, if you should encounter a food and or service problem, they will go above and beyond everything to make you happy, even if a server verbally attacks you, because you didn't leave a tip, due to the attitude of the server. That type of incident, or any other type of incident, are rare at Longhorn. UPDATE on 10/02/20. My wife and I just had one of the best meals at this Longhorn, ever. We both had a filet, and they were cooked perfectly. First time ever, that both of us, had steals cooked perfect the first time. The rest of the meal, and service was impeccable. The steaks were soooooo good. Taste was spot on. Like the really big and expensive steakhouse, except cost here, was lesser than the big boys. We can't wait, to come back. This goes to show you, that excellent food does exist....

Apt 17th, 2023. TRUCK STOP QUALITY 🤢NOT WORTH EVEN A STAR !!! I’ve been here many times and always left totally satisfied with the service and especially the food. (Please, check my reviews below) Today my steak was burned and completely ruined ! The best part of my meal was the French fries. Despite that I got a table right away. The waiter was friendly and attentive to my needs (should’ve asked his name). The food came fast, unfortunately both, the salmon (10 oz) and the steak (9 oz file) were slightly undercooked. Which was not a big deal for me at all. Michelle (the manager) did handle this issue very professionally. I requested another file and asked them to grill up the fish just a bit more. My steak came exactly as I requested, medium. We have been here before, but this time was awful. We started with one waitress who took our drink order, and then we switched to another waitress because of a shift change. They brought us margaritas on the rocks when we had asked for them to be frozen. The new waitress took offense to it even though it wasn't her fault. She got an attitude with us that continued throughout the whole dinner. She rolled her eyes, she mumbled stuff under her breath as she walked away. She took our drinks back and the first waitress came back and was also very rude telling us "just so you know" that all their margaritas come on the rocks. We finally got our food an hour after being there and that wasn't much better. Half the meals were just warm, not hot. The potatoes were overcooked, the medium well steak was RED, red. The salads were soaked in dressing. The waitress only refilled drinks for 2 out of the 6 of us. And we NEVER did get the margaritas. They put the margaritas on our bill, and when we mentioned this to the waitress she said didn't someone bring you the drinks? No, no one ever did. To top it off, it is mother's day, we had 3 mom's at the table, and at all the other tables, the waiters and waitress's handed the mothers a flower, and the mom's at our table didn't get any.
