My family and I have been here several times for bowling and games and have not sat to eat. Last night was our first and last time doing so. We had a large party of twelve people and it's Saturday night, so we anticipated a wait. No problem there. While ordering our food, I was the 2nd person to order. I only had a coke and a plain double cheeseburger. I didn't receive my drink until almost 20 minutes later after the rest of the party had already received drinks. This seemed odd to me and to the party. Then the food was served about another 30 minutes later and I still had not received mine. There were people in the party who arrived later, ordered and received their drinks and food while I'm still waiting on mine. I finally had to flag down the waitress and remind her of the order that I already paid for, and see when I could actually get my food. About 15 minutes later they brought out some cold fries and a double cheese burger that looked like it may have been for another ticket. There was pieces of lettuce and onion on it. I can tell when you just take things off of food and send it to someone else just to rush the order out. So when I got my food half of the party was already done eating and on to playing games. My wife had already finished her food and sat there with me while I ate part of mine. This was the worse experience I have ever had there and I can say we will never sit down there to eat again. This is not the experience that you want your guest to have. I'm a Human Resource professional and I usually will only leave a positive review, but this was ridiculous. My family will be going to Dave and...
Read moreThank you for a great experience! I was there with a 12-year-old and a 16-year-old today. The teen has autism and sensory issues, so I apprecaited the ways I could tell the place made accessibility a priority for both guests and employees. Every single employee was not just nice, but kind and patient toward us. The cashier greeted the 16-year-old by name (she knew him from school) and answered my many questions, both when I was the only one in line and then later when the line was full. At laser tag, the young man in charge asked the excited guests to watch a safety video. After it was over, realizing the video hadn't been heard over the excited talking, he reiterated the main safety instructions loudly enough for all to hear. Inside the laser tag arena, there was an employee supervising safety, but staying out of the way of the kids having fun. At the gravity ropes, the 12-year-old I was with went up into the ropes course and decided he wasn't feeling ready for the heights today, so he came back down almost immediately; the employee unhooked him from the safety harness and said, "That's okay, that was really brave to climb up there and check it out." (As a result, the 12-year-old is already talking about "next time" and trying it again.) In the restaurant, the young lady taking our order was kind and proactive; whenever there wasn't someone in line, she was in the dining area finding out what customers needed, bussing and cleaning tables, and straightening chairs and tables to keep the aisles clear for strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers. From start to finish, it was the best customer service experience I've had at a family...
Read moreOn two separate occasions a staff member greeted us, walked away- and never returned, requiring someone else to then come finish their job. Once, when checking in for our bowling reservation. We were greeted, asked how many were in our group, then he walked off and never came back. After about 5 minutes someone else came and repeated the same questions. He then checked us into our lane. There is not clear instructions on check in process even on the email. Several people just jumped in front of us in line. It is not a well coordinated venue at all. The second time was checking in for the diner. We were greeted and asked how many, and then the person walked off and never came back. The other employee greeted another group, and then asked if we’d been helped. He then continued checking us in and adding us to the wait list, etc. After waiting for our text we arrived at the diner to be seated. Long story short, it took an extremely long time. We never were brought napkins, silverware or even water. Our grandsons pizza was actually still dough. We waited over an hour for two appetizers, 4 drinks and a pizza that wasn’t even cooked. All for $70. Several games were broken, balls missing, etc. We will absolutely not be returning. We spent $100 on bowling (after 5), $100 in game play, and $70 on meals, $30 on drinks later. A large price to pay for less than acceptable experience. Go to another g venue for gaming/bowling. They have poor management skills or are under staffed, or a...
