I’ve been coming here for about twenty years, and the pizza never disappoints. I always stick with a single topping — usually Canadian bacon or pepperoni — because I’ve learned the hard way that their supreme pizzas are just too overloaded for me. All those extra toppings just drown out what makes this pizza so good in the first place: that golden, chewy crust, the real melty cheese, and the zesty sauce that all come together like old-school pizzeria magic.
Biting into a slice always takes me right back to the 80s when pizza actually tasted like pizza — simple, flavorful, and made with real ingredients. It’s not some cheap, greasy mess; it’s the kind of pie you want to savor slowly because every bite has the perfect balance of crust, sauce, and toppings. Portion sizes are generous too, so you never leave feeling short-changed.
The people who work here are genuinely nice every time, which just makes the whole experience feel like hanging out at your favorite hometown spot. It’s not the cheapest pizza around, but it’s definitely worth every penny for that nostalgic, made-right taste.
My tip: keep it simple! Stick with one or two toppings so you don’t mask that delicious base. If you can, swing by during a late lunch or early dinner when it’s less busy and grab a booth — it’s the perfect excuse to kick back with a cold drink and your favorite slice. I’ll keep coming back for another twenty years, no question. Take out...
Read moreThis was my initial visit to this business. The menu offered a wide variety of bar food staples and a number of other which I had never before seen on a bar menu. My appetizer was breaded and fried mushrooms. Not only did they arrive piping hot, they were exquisitely prepared with with a consistently golden brown crust and delightful crispiness. The entree I chose was the Long Branch burger. This item was indeed a "mouthful". Stacked high on a bun with layers of obviously fresh and quality lettuce and tomatoes, my choice of cheese, onion and appropriate condiments (and drenched with unique house dressing), this baby was a culinary delight. The patti was was characterized by its thickness and enticing color and flavor, and it was cooked exactly to my request (medium well). Capped off with a cold draught beer, this meal left me well satisfied and content. The service I received from my waiter was really professional in every respect: attentive and helpful, but not pushy. The facility itself was massive, but well designed, clean and exude it's own relaxing ambiance. In summary, The Other Place really surprised me by offering bar food and relaxation, but with a little class and a level of overall quality I have rarely encountered in my bar experiences. To each his own, but The Other Place is absolutely a clear cut above its competition, and I highly...
Read moreAbsolutely disappointed in our experience yesterday. We went to watch the Packers/Cowboys game. We got seated and after a bit the table next to us for filled with a variety of fans including cowboy fans. As the game started we attempt to engage in playful banter with the next table and the gentleman absolutely lost his mind. Told us some very offensive choice words and then told us he was the owner. I'm not sure why he stated that, maybe to intimidated us. We left it alone and their table continued to say very offensive things about us. We stayed until the game was over and tried saying good game. As we walked out the gentleman chased after us and screamed at us to never come back. Then a lady at that same table ran after us to tell us he WAS in fact the owner. After looking him up we found out that he is in fact the regional director (not the owner). I'm not sure why he got so offended when the whole point of sports is to be competitive. Instead of acting professional, for being a representative of the company, he felt the need to 'ban' us. Absolutely unprofessional!! I'm amazed that he is the face that represents this company. Brian White, you should do better. That treatment was uncalled for!! I guess I'll let my fellow packer fans know we aren't welcomed there unless we sit quietly and give...
