Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Olathe

This location is absolutely terrible. I love Scooters coffee so much but these guys just couldn't get my order right. I ordered a cold brew coffee with Carmel and a Pumpkin Carmelicious muffin. I pulled up, paid for my order and left. On my way back home I tried my coffee...there was no Carmel in the coffee. No big deal, mistakes happen. So I turned around to get my order fixed. When telling them of the mistake in the drive through they said they'd make another order for me. I get to the window and they just took my drink and put a tiny little squirt of Carmel in it and sent me on my way. Still tasted extremely bitter but what can ya do. Now when I got back home I opened my muffin and sure enough it was a blueberry muffin, not the Pumpkin Carmelicious muffin I ordered. Understandably frustrated I called the location and told them of my unpleasant experience and the woman on the phone said that they don't have Pumpkin Carmelicous muffins available at that location. No one told me that when I was ordering. I proceeded to express my frustration and the woman on the phone kept talking to other people in the background and then she basically just hung up the phone with no offer to rectify their several mistakes. I will NEVER go back to this unprofessional location again. I can understand making a mistake, it happens to the best of us. But when you send your customers off with an inaccurate order several times and they have to come back, you should probably make sure everything in that order is correct. We go to this Scooters every week. We like to think of ourselves as patient and understanding. Each week we order the same thing and out of an estimated 40 or so trips here, they have had our order correct maybe 7 or 8 times. Now it’s not huge mistakes, maybe adding whip cream when we ask for no whip or not adding the extra shots that we pay for (when there are two drinks, one with no shots and one with three but they both taste and look the same) or wrong sizes. We continue to go back because it is the only one on our route and we are normally in a hurry so we don’t wait for them to correct it, but it is getting to the point where we will find a new route with a new coffee shop. Great, friendly staff. They get your order correct, even with a busy line! They keep it collected. Have been here many times the past several years. Doesn’t disappoint! Great smoothies & coffees!
