Fatty's Fat Snacks - Foodtruck — Restaurant in Old Bridge Township

The unprofessionalism that Andrew and his team showed today was astounding. I would definitely NOT recommend this truck to anyone.

Andrew and team were hired weeks in advance for a 2 shift work event where the employees could come out and get work on their lunch break. A lunch shift and a late night shift. the employees were very excited

Besides showing up late for the first shift, everything went smooth and we confirmed we would be seeing them later this evening for the second shift. They confirmed they’d be back at 9pm..

9:05.. 9:10.. finally I got through to Andrew on his Instagram account since he wasn’t answering texts or his cell.

“Bro what is going on…” was my logical question

And then came the excuses:

he didn’t have our contact information his truck broke down and he didn’t have a good experience the first shift

These excuses would’ve been forgivable/understandable albeit the fact that it was 10 minutes after they were scheduled to be on premises to provide food for over 200 employees that are on a limited lunch break

Instead of calling us or contacting me through any of the various social medias we are connected on, Andrew left us to figure out a backup plan and luckily a local pizza joint that was about to close was able to accommodate our 200 person order.

Andrew and his team screwed over 200+ employees tonight and just flat out lied to us. Do not waste your time...

So my union was doing a members appreciation day and we needed a food truck asap. I contacted Fattys on a Tuesday, and set up a two day food truck catering for one day at both of my locations. Brandon was amazing to work with, we had constant contact back and forth working out details and fine tuning the menu and days/hours. Everything was beyond reasonable as far as the logistic details went, and that wasnt even close to the best part...

THE FOOD! Holy smokes the food was great! I knew from reading other reviews it was going to be legit, but once the food hit my taste buds I was blown away. The burgers were phenomenal and the fries and mozzarella sticks were second to non! They are fast too, with over 80 guys coming out throughout the day on break and lunch, they only waited a couple of minutes to get their food and go. Everyone was raving about it!

They are a must have at your next gathering, they do it all, small back yard parties to company events, they even traveled a bit extra for me which was amazing.

I choose fatties because of the variety of options they offered! Burgers, chicken, shrimp, s9mething for everyone really. Cant wait to use them again because I can dtop thinking about the double bacon and cheese...

Recently, I attended a local car event called the Los Goonies Sunset Meet. It was my first visit to this spot in Matawan, and everyone kept telling me to just look for the food truck. I arrived and had a fantastic evening surrounded by plenty of nice cars and a great crowd. As I was leaving, I decided to pick up something from Fatty's Fat Snack for myself and my wife. I got a bacon cheeseburger for myself and a buffalo wrap for her. This was my first experience with Fatty's Food Truck. The ride home to Edison took about 15 minutes, and the food was still quite warm when I got there. We sat down together, opened the containers, and to my surprise, there were two generous servings of fries and sandwiches that I wasn't expecting. The burger was still hot and absolutely delicious.
