Five Guys — Restaurant in Old Bridge Township

I'm currently at this location with my 5-year-old twins, and I had to stop eating my meal to give a shout-out to the amazing staff. Three young men are running the show and they have blown my mind with their maturity, respect, kindness, and professionalism they have shown to me and my kids today. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a big smile from the young man in front, and the two in the cooking station were working hard to make sure every order was completed to a high standard. The cooks and the cashier accommodated my request of adding just half cheese on one side of the burger for my kids. It has been a pleasure to see the astounding work these young men are doing, and I'm blown away by the type of professionalism these men exhibit, which is not ordinary to see from young employees working at a burger restaurant. These men deserve huge recognition for their hard work and professionalism in all that they do at 5 Guys!

My husband and I came to Five Guys about a month ago. I was extremely happy with the service. Travis is a phenomenal leader. Though it was early in the day, he was very welcoming to customers. At the time it was December, and I overheard him speaking with the team about possibly doing Secret Santa. That shows that he makes his crew members and the work place morale a priority. Travis also had crew members do maintenance chores at the time because it wasn't busy. The crew members did not at all show tiredness or laziness. I find him to be the reason for it. A team is a reflection of leadership. He is a valuable asset to Five Guys. I may not know him, but watching how he interacted, not only with customers, but with his team said a lot within the 30 minute time period we were there. This was my first time trying out five guys and I must say, they did a pretty good job. It was a takeout order placed online a couple of months ago. The place was big and surprisingly, open to dine in at that time. My order was prepared well ahead of time since I was the only customer there and probably the first one lol.

I had a couple of cheeseburgers and some fries. The burger patty tasted good and the bun was soft. The fries also were decent. The prices seemed a little high for a burger/ sandwich joint.
