Thanks to Emily, Dr.Teehan, and Jessica
I recently had the opportunity to visit AFC American Family Care Urgent Care, and I must say that my experience was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who swiftly got me checked in, minimizing any wait time.
The facility itself was clean, organized, and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. The waiting area was comfortable, and I appreciated that they had a TV and magazines to help pass the time.
The medical staff were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The doctor who attended to me took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain the diagnosis and treatment plan, and answer all of my questions. I felt heard and respected throughout the entire consultation, which is not always the case in healthcare settings.
Moreover, the efficiency of the service at AFC American Family Care Urgent Care was impressive. I didn't have to wait long to be seen, and the whole process, from check-in to check-out, was seamless and quick without feeling rushed.
Overall, my visit to AFC American Family Care Urgent Care was a positive one. The combination of compassionate care, efficient service, and a welcoming environment made a potentially stressful situation much more manageable. I would highly recommend this urgent care facility to anyone in need of prompt medical attention. Thank you to the entire team for providing such a...
Read moreMy 8 yr old daughter has asthma but had also caught a bad cold or virus but it had been getting better, but she was left with this acute cough that would send her into  coughing spells triggering her asthma. Her school nurse called me so I brought her in. I was in n out under twenty minutes. I scheduled an appointment online. Dr. Michael was AMAZING. He was kind, thorough, and gave her the exact medicine she needed.  Jay and Bri were kind and friendly. I love how quick and efficient the service is. The office is always extremely clean. The only thing Iâd suggest is having masks in the waiting room where they are accessible to patients upon entry. I was given a mask by the front desk when I asked, but it would be nice if masks n sanitizer were in the lobby. Eman the P.A. was very friendly too and was very nice to my daughter when she was administering medicine. I got the notification like 15 minutes later that the medicine was ready n we were able to reach the pharmacy 15 minutes before it closed. Iâm thankful for AFC Okd Bridge. My daughter had what I like to call the white coat syndrome n feared going to see physicians. She feels no fear or anxiety when visiting AFC and I love that part too. She was also given stickers at the end of her visit which she loved. Very grateful...
Read moreIf youâre a woman, save yourself the trip. About a month ago, I came in with severe dizziness and a general feeling of being very unwell. Instead of taking my symptoms seriously, the doctor immediately started asking about my home life and whether I was under any stress. I explained that while I had some stress, it was manageable â my real concern was how sick I felt. Despite this, he completely dismissed my symptoms and prescribed anxiety medication to help me sleep.
In the days following, I was spiraling, questioning myself and wondering if I was somehow imagining how sick I felt. Turns out, I WAS sick â I was later diagnosed with labyrinthitis, which explained my dizziness and feverish symptoms (even though my lungs and throat were clear, which apparently meant to them that I wasnât âreally sickâ). On top of that, bloodwork I had done elsewhere revealed I have hemochromatosis, which could have also contributed to how I was feeling.
Iâm absolutely furious at how dismissive and careless the treatment was. The doctor seemed like he was listening and attentive the entire time, but wasnât actually trying to help. I will never return here and strongly advise others â especially women â to seek...
