I was treated like a common criminal at walmart on rt9 in old bridge nj. I left one of my bags with items I purchased there and went back to get it after trying to call, but no one answers the phone at the courtesy counter so I took the trip back there because I knew my bag was there because I was missing items which weren't in the car or in the bags. I was greeted with distrust and doubt as if I were trying to come back there to get double the merchandise. Supposedly they looked for it and looked at the footage on video and kept telling me that I left with the correct amount of bags to which I replied, "How do you know how many bags I had? Did you see how many bags the cashier packed for me? They answered no, then I don't know, then oh no you only had three bags." Basically anything to fit their narrative. Mind you I had been there for over an hour going back and forth with customer service managers store managers the guy that runs the cameras none of whom showed empathy for me and my situation they were more interested in proving me wrong. I think they just wanted to be right or wanted to keep my merchandise. After over an hour of people walking away from me and making me stand at the at the courtesy counter by myself with not even so much as acknowledgement of me being there, my bag was found. I felt vindicated but I could not hide my frustration at how I had been treated which was like a criminal who had malicious intentions trying to defraud the store when all I wanted was merchandise that I had paid for. Towards the end they were telling me in so many words that I was going to leave that store with nothing in hand because they did not believe me even though I had purchased these things they basically told me you're not getting anything and I don't know what to tell you ma'am. To make a horrible experience worse when my bag was handed to me not one person apologized. Needless to say I will never return to that Walmart and I'm seriously considering not shopping at any...

(Part2) Problem starts from here. Stopped at gate by 2 Walmart representative (who treat themselves as FBI) claiming we have slipped in extra stuff. They rechecked and found count exact as per bill : 14 … then they rescanned the items found all correctly priced and then at last pointed to the overridden dresses saying it is not present in system. I asked them to recheck with self checkout agent as it was overwritten by her and I’m not controlling your systems and don’t know how it gets entered and why it is not visible. But they didn’t . Realizing they have nothing they said that the dresses is not expected in clearance as it is wrongly tagged. Pic attached.
They returned the money for the dress n handed me cash even though I paid by card which I found very disrespectful.
My point is : Walmart maintains their system. Walmart staff add tags. Walmart staff place clothes at clearance section. Walmart staff reconfirms and override the pricing on self checkout. Walmart system generates receipt for products. Walmart agents who acts like FBI rescanned and found all count correct n didn’t bother to check with self checkout agent.
@Walmart was point of failure at every point.
I had just paid entire bill for every item as shown by system.
They didn’t care to apologize abt it at all.
Walmart was my go to store but this experience is something I have never encountered in my life. I will pay out extra $$ n buy stuff from other store which values customer but will #NeverGoBack to @Walmart . Just wanted to share my experience of FAKE WALMART CLEARANCE N INCOMPETENT...
Read moreWent to the tire center to have my tires put on. Terry, working on tires, helped me with my service. Towards the end of my service, I noticed my old tires were being taken away and not put back in my car. I had to go out to the service center to let them know I wanted my old tires. Terry, who works in customer service never informed me that my old tires would automatically be taken away. She never once asked me whether or not I wanted to keep my tires. It was $8 for them to keep my tires. $2 fee per tire. I was not informed about this. When I told Terry she should have told me and it’s part of her job to do customer service she said “it’s not my job” and then said “it’s automatic”. This is not how customers should find out that their old tires are going to be kept. Then she told another customer that I was being nasty when I went out (on my own) to tell the mechanic that I wanted to keep my old tires. I understand I was upset about the tires, but I wasn’t mean, I wasn’t nasty, I didn’t curse or raise my voice, I just told the mechanic I wanted my tires and she said “well you should have said that”. To have to sit inside a waiting area waiting for my vehicle to be finished and have a customer service employee telling people you’re being nasty for simply wanting my tires back is absurd. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. Then again, it’s Walmart and they don’t care about their customers or how to treat them. She could have told me. She also could have spoken to me instead of telling another customer I’m nasty. This is your job, you don’t treat people like that. Horrible experience in the auto shop....
