Round Pie Pizza Company — Restaurant in Old Bridge

I ordered from Round Pie for the first time a week and a half ago. That order was almost burnt to a crisp, so when it arrived I was a little upset that all 3 pies in my $80 order left the kitchen looking as burnt as it did. I called right away after it was delivered and spoke to the owner. He was really apologetic and nice about it and told me he would replace the order any time in the future.

I took him up on that offer yesterday and it was baked perfectly the second time. He also not only replaced the order, but insisted on giving me a 2-liter drink on the house. The pizza is delicious! Other than it being very tasty, the way this situation was handled by the owner is top knotch, A+++. The ability to take accountability and turn the experience around was truly what he cared about.

Everytime you see that I order from you guys, just know that its a direct reflection of this experience. You may have broke even or even lost money on replacing my order, but you have a customer in me for life, and thats something marketing...

I've been to Round Pie both here in Old Bridge and in Matawan at least 7-8 times. Usually, the customer service is superb. Today, however, I went in to pick-up my pizza pies. Girl at the front was taking an order over the phone. A guy in the back looked at me, put a pie in the oven - I thought he would then give me my order but no, he went back to his station and looked over at me again. Someone in the back glanced out and came out - I thought he would help me but instead, he went over to the first guy and they started chatting.

I had to wait for the girl in the front to finish taking the order and then she helped me. This is extremely poor customer service - my order was ready to go - just needed to be given to me. Instead they're busy chatting and hugging each other. Not sure what the story is. This is the first time this has happened. Previously, if the person in the front is busy, someone from the back would come out to give...

As a New Yorker that has had some of the best pizza and Italian food - Round Pie Pizza Company has amazing food. Their sauce is outstanding. The bread for their heros is the up there with the best I've ever had.

When it comes to energy and customer service, Round Pie Pizza Company sets the bar high. The design and energy in the space makes you feel good. The music is on point and the staff is up there with the best I've ever seen - even the bathrooms are beautiful. Their customer service skills are up there with the best I've experienced.
