THE EXPRESS LANE IN THE DRIVE THRU IS THE MOST ANNOYING AND DANGEROUS THING IN THE WORLD. It's a matter of time before it causes a car accident, I'm surprised it hasn't already. The people that use the express pick up seriously don't even care that the people they are "cutting in front of you" and you might not see them coming up from behind around that bend, or they might not know why they are being cut in line, if express person can not successful get in front of someone waiting in line-they block the express lane AND the drive thru lane. So if a car is trying to leave the parking lot because they were at the other business that shares the lot, they can't get thru and have no idea why the car is blocking the road. I've seen one very old woman get out of her car and walk up to the window of an express customer's car, knock on it and ask her to move, the express customer was nothing but rude, saying she wasn't in the way and that she was in line despite her blocking BOTH lanes. I take the sharp turn where you place your order VERY WIDE so no one can get around me because if and when someone tries to get in front of me I never let them because they can wait like everyone else. If someone orders ahead there should be a separate window or they should have to walk in and get it. That'd be faster for them and it would speed up the drive thru that always takes 25 to 35 mins when busy DUE to express lane customers slowing down the ordering process and putting themselves between people patiently waiting for their morning coffee....
Read moreI just keep giving them "second" chances and that's over. First, they can't keep enough staff on payroll to actually be efficient and consistent, especially in the drive thru which is the slowest drive thru ever! They constantly give customers the wrong order (like today, when I asked for a simple pumpkin muffin and I got a coffee cake(?) I guess, which is so dry and gross I can't even eat it! So there goes $4.00). Also, the staff isn't typically the friendliest, one guy actually complained to me that they didn't have enough people showing up so he had to work extra hours. How are you going to complain to a paying customer?! Sitting in the drive thru, you can also hear the rest of the staff complaining about working conditions to each other. Really makes people want to go there when they're probably no washing their hands or sweating/spitting in people's food behind the scenes! Lastly, instead of making mobile order people go inside and get their orders or have designated parking for the food to be brought out to (like McDonald's and other fast food places) they allow for mobile order people to cut in line in the drive thru which just makes the line longer and slower! And if you don't let them in, you're the one who could "get in trouble". It truly is the worst system for people who don't frequent the place. And, like others have said, it's slow no matter what time of day you go! Unacceptable. Will be going to the DD down the street...
