I love subway, by far one of the best deli franchises in town. They truly live up to their slogan, “Subway, eat fresh!”
This particular subway is interesting, the store is always clean and they’re always stocked on items. I spend a lot of my work lunches here when I’m in the area, so I pay attention to those things
The atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the customer service is pretty great too!
All the workers are super cool except this one guy in the morning, bald guy with a beard, kind of short; always giving me a MAJOR attitude which in turn sours my mood. I hate when he takes my order, I always try to get the other guy to do it; the other guy is super cool.
Anyways the food is pretty good, and I love their selection of chips and drinks, the teas are always fresh as well as their soups and meatballs.
Personal recommendation of mine is to TOAST YOUR VEGGIES with your sandwich (Spinach, bell peppers, olives, and onions are preferred) it’s a game changer on those sandwiches.
All in all, I like having a sandwich during my lunch breaks here and recommend to anyone. The Subway app also has some cool deals and promos so that’s a huge plus as well, definitely get the app if you haven’t already.
Parking is pretty difficult since it’s a shared public lot so be on the lookout there.
Anywho, come by and...
Read moreI used to work at this location and I can tell you this place is disgusting!!! The manager James goes against all the rules for food safety. Doesn't wash his hands, he came back from the restroom one day and just dunked his hands in the sanitizer sink, reuses knifes that fall on the floor without washing them, licks his finger's with his gloves still on to separate the cheese, will serve you stale bread, leaves the meat out to thaw until room temperature then refreezes it, will serve product that's been expired for a week all he does is change the sticker for when the inspector comes so it looks like it is new. His reason is he doesn't throw it out so it keeps his food cost down. The place is crawling with roaches when I would open in the morning they would be all in the cookie case, there was a leak in the fridge and it all dripped into the container where we kept the sauce bottles and all of them were sitting in 4 inches of dirty water just absorbing it, when you squeezed it all that mildewed water would come out, the drink nozzles are caked with mold. If you go here only get a bottled drink because that's the only thing he can't sabotage. Eat at your own risk if you do. Me and other employees boycotted the food because it is...
Read moreWent here to my favorite subway, first time in months, I had a taste for a meatball sub. Got inside at 8:00pm, go to order and they are out of meatballs. Say they need to cook them and it’ll be 15 minutes, while I’m deciding the other employee goes to the fridge. I decided on something else, and the employee I’m talking to tells the one in the fridge grabbing the meatballs don’t worry about it and they put them back in the fridge.
So they were never going to cook them anyway. 2 hours left of service and the lazy employees don’t want to offer the full menu. I take offense to any store where employees are lazy and don’t cook something just because they are closing in 2 or so hours and don’t want to clean it up. Chips were not stocked either.
Also the guy in front of me told me he tried ordering the same thing. So it’s not that they just ran out, they could have started cooking it/warming it up as soon as they told him the same thing even if he did order something...
