Let's start by saying Brian our server was fantastic. Anything that didn't go well was completely overshadowed by the great service. The decor was simple. Pinks and grays. Two paintings and nothing more. Three light up mirrors on another wall. And a large frosted glass (window?) on another wall. Some say sparse, some say clean. The multiple light fixtures above the bar were probably the most "design" in the room. The starkness of the large room may contribute to the poor acoustics. If you have any issues with hearing- this might not be for you. We found ourselves repeating things often and we hear well. Our res was for 1130 and the young lady got us down at 1125. Ok so there were a few things that didn't go well. First of all the parking. What a challenge. I must have circled the parking lot and the street four times (which was not easy), until I just decided to pull in on one side and wait. Someone finally came out and I was able to grab a spot. The parking spaces aren't that tight but when the cars are bigger than normal they can make it tight. They sat us against the back wall with the large open kitchen near us. It was really hot. No really. Really hot. Eventually we were told they were having AC issues. I could have told them that. We both ordered the lobster over toast with hollandaise. It came with FB potatoes and baked eggs. My friend asked what the "lobster mix" was. Basically it was lobster meat with imitation lobster, I can't remember the ratio he told us but there was more Lobster than imitation. We should have passed right there but decided to move ahead. We didn't think the lobster was that fresh. It had a very strong fishy smell. We both ended up pushing the "lobster" to the side. Then the potatoes were mostly cold with a few luke warm nuggets. We informed Brian who seemed very concerned. My friend let him know that we fully intended to pay our bill but we wanted to make sure someone knew. He did bring us AN INCREDIBLE GIANT BROWN BUTTER CINNAMON ROLL as an apology. We both had to say that was one of the tastiest apologies we've ever had. I know they are relatively new. I wish them...

This was our first time eating there because we saw an enticing video on Instagram. We were both extremely disappointed in the food and drinks here. My boyfriend got the chicken and "waffle" dish and his chicken was tough and overcooked. The "waffle" wasn't a waffle, it was a squashed donut. I got a chorizo bowl which was cold and the roasted potatoes the chorizo was on were burned, dry, hard and cold as though they were leftover potatoes from another day. The egg on top was cold and not poached right. Chorizo was mediocre at best. My boyfriend ordered an horchata iced coffee which took forever for them to bring out and it was in a small glass that looked simply like light colored coffee with hardly any flavor and no fancy appearance so we don't know why it took so long to make. In the end, the manager tried to make it right by sending us home with a cinnamon roll which I just threw away since it didn't look appetizing either. The atmosphere was very simple inside with hardly any decor. I would say look elsewhere for brunch if you want great food and reasonable prices!!! We will...

After knowing people who ate here and seeing all the reviews we were super stoked to try this place. Now we did try this place on a Wednesday morning. When we got here there was only one other table with people at it.

We ordered drip coffee and an OJ to start. Had to send back the coffee it was it was so bad. It tasted like it was old leftover coffee that was reheated and burnt. When we sent it back they almost seemed unnerved that we would send it back. As far as the food goes it was much the same. We ordered the Billionaire Slab Bacon, Pink Hippo Eggs, and a side of cheese grits. The slab bacon was like chewing on rubber. The eggs tasted really good the only issue was one was way over cooked and the other was way undercooked. Lastly the grits were warm at best and just lackluster.

The service almost felt like we were an inconvenience for coming in. Our drinks were dropped, food was dropped, and the check was dropped. Other than that our server was a ghost.

We are really hoping we caught them on a bad day...

It was our first time here. The place is easy to find but not enough parking. Reservations are highly encouraged since they get busy really quick and they turn down walk ins. The ambiance leaves a lot to desire: bland and taste less; could not find a decor style. Artwork it’s a miss and you could barely hear the music if any. Restrooms are outdated and with a tacky black color. Really bad selection for the lighting through out the restaurant. Regarding the food, it was ok. We got the eggs Benedict with broccolini instead of the breakfast potatoes. They gave me the whole head of broccolini and they sur charged me $3 for it when I only asked for a side. Secondly, we had a BLT and it was great except for the toast needed to be more caramelized. The pecan pie French toast was delicious but dry; I don’t need to smothered with maple syrup. I understand that this place is the new kid in town but timing is important for first impressions and it was not the best in this case. Overall, it going in the right direction but needs a lot of work.
