Well, unfortunately, this will be the first review for this particular location. Too bad they had to do us like that but here it goes....
We are repeat customers to this location and the other location on Division Street in West Olympia. Typically, we are satisfied with the product and service. Buuuuut, we just got home about 20 minutes ago after spending money on a slice, a pop, two beers and a calzone to go. We usually order much more. My mom ordered a ham, salami and mushroom calzone. We waited for 30 minutes and while we waited we had a couple of tasty IPAs. There was no other customers at this location when we were there so no excuses about being busy on this date/time. Although, that should never be an excuse.
When we got home my mom was very excited as typically in the past the calzones were pretty freaking good. She sliced into the pie and could immediately tell the knotted dough was under cooked. I mean really under cooked!! In fact it was downright mushy!!! Also, to top it off (excuse the pun) there was no toppings inside the pie...other than one small piece of salami, sprinkles of mushrooms and slice of lunch meat ham. There was maybe two bites of toppings inside of this 8 inch pie!!! This is not the typical quality we have experienced from this business in our 5 plus years of supporting them.
So, my mom called to explain her frustration with the huge quality let down. She spoke with Sophie who is apparently the manager on duty. My mom expressed her disappointment. Sophie asked if they were going to lose our business. My wife said well I don't know. Sophie responded "Well, thanks for critiquing us today" in a very condescending voice. My wife replied "Well I guess you did lose our business today" and then she hung up the phone.
This is very upsetting on several levels and unfortunate we gave them a tip as we usually do. We didn't realize the quality was going to be so poor and that we would be treated so badly. One time at the West Olympia location we ordered a pizza to go and when we got home they had given us the wrong pizza. The manager in charge that day took full responsibility and credited us for one extra large pie. That was a smart decision because we have continued to be loyal customers up till now.
When you are a customer based business it is always a good call to remember that.....It was nice...

Ordered an 18” 3 topping pizza and the bread wedges online for takeout on a Saturday night. Wait time said 90 minutes. 90 minutes pass, no confirmation email, text, or phone call. I drive over to the restaurant and ask for my order. It’s sitting on top of the oven ready to go, but just the pizza, no bread wedges. They make the wedges right then, about 5 minutes. I was offered two red sauces as well. I take my food and go home.
Get home and my pizza is missing one of its toppings ($2.75 each) and the bread wedges have nothing on them other than a dusting of seasoning. The online website said they came with pesto and pecorino on top. I also didn’t get my red sauce.
I call them and ask about the sauce, they say if I’m nearby to come back and they’ll give me some. So I drive back there. When I arrive I also ask about the bread wedges. They say since I didn’t order the kind with cheese, nothing comes on them. I show them their online menu on my phone and they keep going on about ordering with cheese, and that they usually ask if I want cheese on the wedges when ordered. Nothing about pesto. I then tell them about the missing topping, and if I could get a partial refund. They said that since I ordered online, I couldn’t be refunded (which is a strange business practice). I then asked for a printed receipt, which they also couldn’t provide for the same reason. Only emailed receipts for online orders. They offered to remake the pizza, which I accepted. They said it would be out in 8 minutes. I waited 20.
2 and a half hours since I ordered I’m home with 2 pizzas, the plain wedges and some marinara in a cup. I will say it’s great food. The bread wedges are very soft and the pizza is thin and crispy. The staff was also very polite despite the issues. I just wish it didn’t take so much time and effort just...
Read moreI don't know what the hype is all about. Arrived here right when they opened on a Sunday with a party of 8. It appeared they had a great beer selection and the house root beer was great! We ordered a large pizza and two calzones. My sister and I each ordered a slice from the rack that was already cooked. We asked for it to come out with the other food and if they could mame sure it was heated up as well. They said of course! After we ordered, it got really busy and probably took at least 30-40 min for our food to arrive. We had to ask for our slices. The large pizza looked pretty good but the crust wasnt done enough. I feel it needed to be mpre crispy. My husband said his calzone wasn't cooked all the way on the inside as well. The individual slices were luke warm. At first we were just going to eat them as is but then I decided, I don't enjoy cold pizza. I took them back up and waited in line. I explained to the young female behind the counter that they were cold and asked her to heat them up. She said since they were already touched by us she couldn't do that because it was against policy. She also explained there wasn't any of that kind of pizza left. I asked if I could pick out a different slice. She started ringing me up for it and I told her I am not paying for another slice of pizza when my other two were cold. She then laughed, rolled her eyes, and replied, "So you want it for free??" I said, "Yes!". She then proceeded to tell me with an attitude she can't guarantee she will be abke to do this next time. I told her I don't understand why you are treatung me this way and that I don't go around trying to get free pizza.
I am not over exaggerating on any of this. If you look at most of my reviews, they are primarily positive good reviews. I am not picky, but I expext...
