I was so excited to have a Buffalo Wild Wings close to home, but I was extremely disappointed with this new location and the staff. I felt like I was on top of all the people around me, bumping elbows and what not, but that was the least of my problems.
I had a party of five, so nothing too crazy. Our waitress came over and took our drink orders, but it took her ten minutes to bring it over. I understand she had other tables to tend to, so we weren't too upset. Then we ordered our food; we had two orders of mozzarella sticks and a side salad. We waited about 20 minutes for one order of the sticks and our waitress assured us that the second order was being finished and would have it out right away. I'm not sure what her definition of right away is, but we waited another 20 minutes for the second order. Fortunately the sticks were hot, so we didn't really complain. The side salad came out with dinner which should have come out at the same time as the mozzarella sticks. My mother-in-law didn't seemed bothered by it, so again, we didn't complain.
My sister-in-law and I both got a chicken wrap and had asked for no tomatoes. SURPRISE! It had tomatoes. She had a few, so she just picked them out. Mine, however, was about 98% tomatoes, so I informed the waitress and she said she would have them make me another. She never apologized about the mess up, but instead asked if I could take the incorrect wrap home because she didn't want to throw out good food. I agreed since my husband would eat it. The onion rings that came with it were cold, so that was disappointing.
I waited 15 minutes for my food to arrive when the waitress came over and asked if they had brought out my new food. When I said no, she said she had seen them finish it up and assured me that it would be out in a little bit. Again, I'm not sure what her definition of a little bit is, but as everyone was finishing up their dinner, I finally got my food. I asked for a box and boxed everything up; I wasn't going to make everyone wait another 20 minutes or so just so that I could eat.
It seems the waitress had poor training as she seemed to disappear a lot and we could never track her down for refills on our drinks while we waited for our food. If anything, it seemed she was avoiding us all together. We were nothing but polite, so I'm not sure why she would be avoiding us.
All in all I would highly recommend everyone to go to a different location because this was the absolute worse. I wish I could give this...
Read more100% of the time I go to this location something goes wrong. Usually it's a missing item in my order or a missing ingredient so I have to be super diligent every single time I go here. This is the closest location to me, but now more often than not, I go to the 144th location because it's just not worth the hassle.
There's a reason why this location has the lowest rating out of all the Buffalo Wild Wings in all of the Omaha Metro, Council Bluffs, Lincoln, and Fremont.
Update: 7/30/23. Back again for some reason. Our names were swapped with another bag so when I went to pick up, someone else had already walked off with our order. I was surprised when the manager (someone I’d never seen before at this location) came out pretty quickly, went through the order with me item by item, and gave me a $10 gift card. And I noticed the old general manager’s name was no longer on the front door. Hopefully this means things might improve in the future???
Update: 7/3/25. I figured it's been two years, let's try this again! So we tried to order via the Buffalo Wild Wings app like we usually do and that didn't work; I don't know what was up, the soon2BX just said it wasn't working so she ordered via phone. No prob. I go in to pick it up, say the name, grab the bag, do a quick check, and walk out. When I get home, everything's there, nothing's wrong... and then I realize... when you order via the app, your credit card is charged, but when you order on the phone you pay when you pick up. But I was absent-minded, thinking about other things and the cashier never prompted me to pay so I just walked out out of habit. So I called and I'll swing by and pay for the order, but I don't think this counts as a mistake-free experience? One of these days though! This location is my...
Read moreHonestly I've watched the quality drop and the prices raise at this entire franchise for the last few years. Service is consistently bad and last night was no exception. I haven't been to one of their locations in about 6 months and decided to give them one last chance. The 4 of us went to the 132nd and Maple location last night after a 7pm movie.
When we arrived it was about 9:30. There were only a handful of customers in the store and a lot of employees standing around doing nothing. This included the host who seemed very annoyed when we told him we did NOT want to sit in the bar, but preferred to be seated. I almost walked out after it took 10 minutes for a server to show up and ask us about drinks. The menu prices have continued to rise with 0 change in quality. A "large" bone-in wing (about 20) is now $19.99 and as far as I can tell, they've abandoned their twice a week specials that made them famous for a rewards program instead.
After we finally ordered it took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive. It was only a couple burgers and a small order of wings between us. After dropping off the food the server disappeared and we had no silverware at the table. We had to get up and get our own. We were completely done eating by the time the server came back a single time and were surrounded by employees complaining about their job the entire time.
The food itself tasted fine although a bit cold, and this will be the last time we visit any of their locations. There is better food to be had for lower or similar prices. They must need to recoup cash for all these stand alone stores they are putting up....
