Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Omaha

This Cold Stone Creamery location 17304 Davenport St Ste B102 Omaha, NE 68118 was the worst that I have ever visited. This location had the most dismissive, racist, miserable staff and unhygienic conditions that I have ever encountered.

For starters my son’s ice cream had a strain of hair in it which was absolutely disgusting.

And the attitude of the staff was horrible. They appeared to have very racist attitudes as when serving my son and I the staff had an air of intolerance as if they hated the fact that they were forced to serve people of color they did not smile nor greet us and made every effort not to make eye contact.

When I tried to order one girl acted like she couldn’t understand what I was saying and made a rude comment that I was pronouncing my order request wrong. Her attitude was so hateful that it even shocked the customers and one of her co- workers who commented “did you really just say that to a customer”. I reported this to her supervisor immediately.

I have traveled around the world to many locations, and I have frequented Cold Stone Creamery in Africa and throughout America, and I have never experienced such racist and bad customer service. Cold Stone Creamery apparently needs to offer their staff at this location more training on proper customer service and cross checking their unconscious biases.

Thus, again I would not recommend this location to anyone that appreciates good customer service from an inclusive minded staff in a hygienic environment. The staff at this location clearly does not represent the greater mission of Cold Stone Creamery. DO...

The service here was atrocious. Not only was the service slow, but the person serving me didn't even notice me and beckoned to the people behind me for service, completely ignoring me. Additionally they took another lady ahead of me also. On top of that, the person who was taking my order seemed incapable of understanding what I was trying to order despite me pointing and mentioning the items I wanted by name. After repeating myself several times for every single item that I ordered, she then still got my order wrong. Then once I got to the register two people had to check me out and neither one greeted me there. Everybody seemed to be struggling and seem to not know what they were doing which is fine if they're new, but to add terrible service on top of that...

The place is run by youngsters and this is undoubtedly many of their first jobs, but whoever is the one actually running this place should offer more feedback and encourage them to be more professional. This is still a business and you still need customers.

Village Point is way across town for me, a 25-minute drive. Definitely will not be stopping at this store If Ever I should make the Trek back out here again. Poor service, 2 Stars only because the products...

This location is the worst of worst for customer service and wait time to make payment. Visited it lot of times and never had good experience, too long lines and the reason is the payment system! I gave order for 2 ice creams and 10 gift cards, made payment and the machine was not working to give the gift cards. Was asked to wait and 40 mins later in spite of repeated requests they didn't give me my gift cards. So I asked to refund and they said they can't issue refund for gift cards which have not even been issued! Finally the manager came and offered me to comeback this morning and that he will keep them ready and give me $5 token gift! Went this morning got the cards and was not given the token gift. On asking was told that it was never said!

Coming to the products (ice creams!) I would give a 3 star. They are not great, but they are not worst either.
