Do you guys check your fruits and vegetables before serving it, or nah? To your reply ā€œI’d love to know some specificsā€ I’m going to post some picture(s) of some of your employees on their phones while working. Several more employees were on their phones. How are you not comprehending that cell phones are filthy and wearing gloves doesn’t do much, if anything, if you put them on and then touch your phones… while in the kitchen and dining area? And no, I know the seated guy was not on break because he alternated between his phone and working. They can’t even say that this was when the restaurant traffic was winding down because it was 2 hours before close and there were a million tables with dirty dishes sitting on top of them. I had to search all around for a seat with no crumbs on it. And the guy’s just kickin’ back while on his phone while the guy in front of him (red shirt) does all the work. SMDH.

I ordered the original sized salad and the portion was a joke. Smallest salad I’ve gotten. There barely was any lettuce in the container. I always order from Jason’s deli and I’m usually able to eat from the salad and have left overs for work the next day. Definitely won’t ever be back. Called to clarify if I was given the smaller portion and employee said that she’s been working there for three months and that’s the only container she has see. She also said the new district manager is strict and ā€œdoing things by the booksā€. I paid about 14 dollars for the salad and now I need to find other food to eat to get full.

Always a fantastic experience and amazing food! We visited again, 5/20/2025, for lunch. Ordered salad bar ā€˜all you can put’ in large bowl. You can request a second trip of the first bowl is not enough. Nice variety and selection of veggies. We didn’t add protein, however there were eggs and diced bacon. Con: had to ask to refill salad bar and noodles in salad were slimy and mushy. Selection of muffins and crackers. Variety of dressings to choose from. We also ordered a strawberry cake to go - always a favorite! Highly recommend!

My wife and I have both worked in restaurants in the past. Walking in the L Street Jason's Deli I was leery of the place as the windows were dirty and the door handle was loose. It was 2 p.m. in the afternoon and there were few people in the large dining area. I was surprised to see that the floors and tables were still dirty from lunch, should have been at least working on it at this point. To us the menu was confusing and my wife ordered the special. She thought a drink came with it and the guy at the counter remarked, "This isn't McDonald's, only one deal up here has a drink that comes with it." We ordered take out and he informed us that we were at the wrong register, although no one was at the other. I went to the restroom and it was a mess. It had that grimy feel that it hadn't been cleaned properly in a long time. While we waited to have our meal prepared we watched two ladies at the drive through counter using a phone to translate what was on the screen. I can only assume one was training the other; they were giggling and didn't move the entire time we were there. Service was slow and in the kitchen area the floor and counters had not been cleaned from the lunch rush. I ordered the ranch wrap which was expensive and small. My wife ordered the mufaletta sandwich, which seemed shoved together. The workers seemed lethargic and no one seemed to have a vested interest in the restaurant. I've been to the Dodge street Jason's Deli twice. We will be...

Went to Jason's Deli last night and like a goof, forgot my wallet at home. I walked to the counter, smiled and explained to the cashier my situation and asked if he would be able to type in my card. He told me no and I drove back home to get my card, to go back and get my potato.

I did not have a problem with being told no however, the cashier had a nasty attitude and at no point tried to explain the policy/reasoning for not doing so - he just kept saying no. I explained to him before that I had paid for large orders over the phone with my card and at delivery, my ID nor card were asked for - and wondered why now, me providing my card number was not sufficient. He responded, "We can't just put in credit card numbers that people throw out!" Had he said, "Ma'am, I apologize but our policy states blah, blah, blah..." I would not be writing this but the tone that he took made me feel that he thought I was lying and that the card I was using to pay for the $8 and some change potato - was not mine.

I get it. I could have been lying - but I wasn't. So instead of deterring a "would be" credit card scammer, he offended a very loyal customer with his piss poor attitude and terrible customer service. Once he handed me my bag, I said thank you and have a good night too - since he didn't bother. I don't know who this guy is but a refresher on customer service, manners and how to properly interact with customers would...

Gave it one more chance... They failed. The last couple of times we visited, we went early on a SAT evening (@4pm). Each time there were maybe 5 customers in the entire place, but every empty table was full of trash. The place hadn't been bussed for hours, yet several employees were just gabbing behind the counter. We had to ask them to buss a table just so we could sit. The salad bar had gone downhill and the plates/cutlery we're dirty. We reached out to corporate. They requested my ph#(which I provided) and they said they'd be in touch. Never heard from them. We waited a few months and decided to give it one more try. Nothing changed. We walked in @415pm, very few customers but almost every table was dirty and not bussed. We waited a few minutes at the order counter, and despite several employees standing around, nobody greeted us or tried to help. So we used the self order kiosk and settled for the all you can eat salad bar. Every player they have me had dried food on it I had to remove. The cutlery was dirty. The food was "alright" at best, but not worth the filth/possible illnesses that could arise from lack of proper bussing/cleaning. We are not going back. They lost long...
