My Husband and i went here at 11:45 AM on Saturday March 7th 2015 . when we parked a man came walking from the door and said they were locked up and no response from drive through either he said even though two cars in parking lot, lights on and steam coming off Buffet food ! I went up to door and door says hours of opening of store every day is 10:30 AM so i banged on door and no response so drove through drive through and no response so went to door on other side of building and saw a employee i assume but not dressed in KFC outfit . He ignored me looking in so i banged on door again. He came and unlocked and cracked open door and asked what i want and i said are you out of business ? and he said like he didn't care that they are running behind due to short staff LOL . He told me to eat somewheres else or could come in and wait until they could do their job ! What a Joke !! I counted 15 customers walk away from the locked door and leave and 9 cars sit in drive through with no response and all leave also !! How do i know this ?? We went to Runza across parking lot and had great sevice and a business that knows how to manage their help . We laughed looking out the window at Runza at all the people walking and driving away yet at 12:30PM . This isn't the first time we have eaten at this KFC but a few weeks earlier there were 4 employee's in store and the place was a mess at 2pm , very little food in buffet and attitudes that they all hate their jobs ! Sorry KFC but will not return to this store and telling others to stay away as you have NO MANAGEMENT and people taking phones out of their back pockets checking texts while making food with no gloves on !!! We enjoy KFC chicken and looks like we will have to drive to 132nd and Center location for now on. I wonder if you will check that you had NO Sales from 10:30 AM till about 12:30 PM this day and my review is accurate and explain your business practices to me or put a sign on your doors and drive through saying you are closed next time due to no help. I wonder if you would have response to...
Read moreDate/Time: 07/20/2015 Noon Location: 2555 S 175th St, Omaha, NE 68130 My daughter and I visited the restaurant on this past Monday as we were in the area and wanted to try the buffet. The buffet had minimum stocking of food, but I was instantly assured more chicken would be placed in it. As I was paying for it, more chicken and other things were placed in the serving pans. Fresh, hot and steaming. At the beginning of the buffet line, there is a visible sign asking customers to request desired items. Everything was hot and fresh for the three trips I returned to refill. I was able to get 2 extra crispy breasts (put out fresh after I retrieved one each trip), and one original recipe breast (again fresh as I was walking up). Manager asked me what type of chicken was my favorite upon my first run of the buffet as well as asking my daughter. Reading the other comments and reviews about people complaining about the need to request items... a little thought into why its done this way... it should occur to anyone with common sense... it is a way to keep fresh food in the buffet without over cooking and also meeting the current diners wants. Helps save on cost for them as well. There were 7 people in the restaurant eating aside from daughter and myself. I was never kept waiting to refill my plate, employee was seen wiping down tables and chairs, staff was constantly working on drive through and filling orders. Manager was overheard training new employee on proper way of doing things. Other coworkers pitching in to help find items. Will be making a returned trip with entire family.
Side note: I have never had a KFC tell me no when requesting all my chicken cooked fresh even when they had enough already cooked. I enjoy the extra crispy and it being steaming hot. Key is, you must be willing to wait, or call your order ahead 15 minutes. Again, have never had an issue with special request if I was patient while...
Read moreI gave one star because I couldn't give this place a zero. Twice I've been here. Both times they were out of extra crispy chicken. Clearly this is an odd request at 5:00 p.m. (Dinner time) I waited 20 minutes on both occasions and saw employees leave to smoke and take breaks while telling me it wouldn't be much longer and other customers waiting in their cars. They offered me a cake for my troubles both times. Come on. I want dinner for my family, not cake. I understand to a point that restaurants get busy and you don't want to prep too much food but this location was empty! That should have been my first sign. The location of this KFC is great but if you can't keep product available then CLOSE YOUR DOORS. My biscuits were uncooked in the middle and my chicken wasn't crispy but I got a free cake. I literally told people as I left this establishment in the parking lot to leave. "Don't waste your time or money". They did and I at least got some satisfaction. Shut your doors....lock them and let another business thrive. I just called to voice my opinion to "Becky" asked for the owner and said her name was "Lisa." I asked for LisasL # and Becky got upset that I wouldn't voice my opinion to her and hung up on me. WOW!! Lisa, I truly hope you read your reviews because they are less than less! What happened to...
