We were in last week Wednesday and were seated quickly. The first thing our server said was, “You picked a good day to come in, big boss is here so we should be on our A game.” We’ve been in twice before, nothing memorable but service and food was always okay. I ordered one of their specials, a chipotle chicken and bacon panini. “Spicy” fries were advertised as the side, I confirm with the server that these are spicy as in hot, she says yes. Okay, cool, spicy is my thing so I’m in. My husband gets the omni omelet, he asks what veggies are on it and she mentions mushrooms as one of them. My husband is excited since he loves mushrooms, he also asked for a dark roast coffee. Well, our food comes out and it’s disappointing, the fries are NOT spicy, the chipotle sauce on the sandwich is extremely watery (to the point it made the bread soggy), there aren’t any mushrooms in the omelet, and the coffee is some weird watery vanilla/hazelnut flavor. We brought up the coffee problem first since it was the first thing we received, it took a total of 3 attempts to receive the right coffee, by the time we got the correct coffee we were already done eating. When I brought up the fries not being spicy the server said, “They’re supposed to be spiced, not spicy.” Your menu says spicy, I confirmed with you when ordering that spicy meant hot, you said yes. The fries tasted like they were lightly salted, that was it. We also brought up the issue about the mushrooms and her response was, “I guess they just forgot to add mushrooms? Sorry.”
I don't enjoy writing reviews, but the comment about your boss being in that day really rubbed me the wrong way. You should always strive to be on your “A game” and it’s weird that the day your boss is in, and you make that comment, your food and coffee is a big letdown. We enjoy supporting our local businesses, but I’m not sure we’ll be back here after our most...
Read moreToday, I went to this Le Peep location to get my daughter and I breakfast. My daughter wanted the Funny Face kids meal off the kids menu. It costs $5.50 before all the tax. In the description it says it comes with sausage or bacon. When the waitress asked my daughter if she wanted sausage or bacon, my daughter says she wants both. The waitress says ok and that's it. The pancake comes out and we get 3 sausages and 3 bacon with the meal. It seems a bit much, but I think, "wow, they're really pandering to the customers and making friends here." Well, no, when our bill comes we are charged 5.25 for a side of bacon and 5.25 for a side of sausage. That's not ok. We really shouldn't be going out to eat anyways, but we used to go out to eat a decent amount before our second daughter was born. She has medical needs and has made budgeting and money hard and extra things like dining out near impossible, but I do like to scrounge up some money to try and show our first daughter that her life is still somewhat normal and she is just as special to us as she always has been and always will be, but this kind of customer care is making it hard to justify this kind of activity. I certainly won't be taking her back to Le Peeps. First Watch is right...
Read moreI have gone here before and had a great time. I cannot say that this time. This was my husband's first time and he will not be going back. He got served what appeared to be prefabbed microwaved food that was heavily over charged. Something that you would see on Kitchen Nightmares.
I was told my food would be out shortly when he received his. He finished his food and I never recieved mine. What I suspect was the manager asked two of the 4 other tables around us how everything was and if they needed anything, completely skipping our table as I sat watching my husband eat (who was starving so decided to eat without me).
Our waitress finally came back to our table and ask how everything was, my plate very evidently not there. She apologized profusely and offered to have it made to go. I declined and told her I didn't want to wait anymore. The manager never came to our table, never apologized and we were charged the full amount of the food my husband ate. I am glad we did not order more and we both will not...
