When I walked in, six employees plus the manager was standing by the fry station doing nothing. After all looked toward me, the lady changing trash in the lobby came to take my order. While placing my order, a guy who was dealing with drive thru came by and the asked if he could finish taking the order so she can work on the trash and he refused and walked away. While continuing to place my order, another drive thru person (Lady 2) walked up with a credit card making it obvious that the person in drive thru was adding to their order. Lady 2 took over ordering, and after EVERY ITEM, the words , "anything else?" came out of her mouth. I had to correct one item during the order taking to change from the 2 cheeseburger meal to the double quarter meal, which still did not get rung in correctly. I slowed down my order taking (having been a previous McDonald's manager, I know how this works), and when I finished, I was told my total. I told her to repeat my order. All while the other employees were getting anxious because this car was not moving because they were waiting on me. She went through it fast and I told her I guess, and I'll figure out what is wrong with my order later. Less than 2 seconds after I took my card out of the reader, she essentially pushed my hand out of the way to ring in the drive thru order and to insert the card. I had to ask for my receipt.
In looking at the receipt, they failed in to order my special Double Quarter request and only rang in one meal, not two.
The first lady apologized and was the only one to see what happened. I told her that there is too much background noise for my order to be heard and the manager isn't much better.
DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE!!
My survey review follows:
The manager of this store did not acknowledge the issues brought forth by his employee. The fries had ABSOLUTELY NO SALT and the drink carrier I was given was "not approved for use without bag". Any store ran by this company needs to seriously reconsider the restaurants under their name as this is the sixth poor survey in 2021 that I...
Read moreI had one of the most frustrating experiences at this McDonald’s today, and I feel like other customers should be warned.
At 10:48 a.m., I placed and paid for a breakfast order through the McDonald’s app. When I finally got to the drive-thru window after waiting in line, the employee told me they were no longer serving breakfast and that I’d automatically get a refund in a few days. Fine, mistakes happen — but that’s where the real problem started.
By 5:00 p.m., I still hadn’t seen any refund, so I called the restaurant to confirm. The male manager I spoke with told me I’d have to come in person to get my refund. That was ridiculous to me — McDonald’s takes my money instantly through the app, but then I have to jump through hoops just to get it back for food I never received.
When I went to the restaurant, the female manager told me I’d have to come back the next morning since it was a “breakfast order.” That made zero sense. After I explained that another manager had already told me to come in, the male manager came out to “help.” I showed him my email receipt, but he had no idea how to even look up the order or process a refund. He stood there clueless, clearly not trained on how to handle app refunds.
Finally, instead of actually processing the refund, he just handed me $12 cash — even though I had paid $12.58 on my credit card. So after wasting my time driving back and forth and dealing with untrained managers, I still walked away short-changed.
This is completely unacceptable. McDonald’s official policy is that refunds for app orders are handled by the restaurant, yet the managers here were either not trained or the system is completely broken. Either way, the customer ends up being punished for McDonald’s mistakes.
It should never be this hard to get money back for food you never received. This location needs serious retraining on how to handle app orders and refunds. As it stands, I would not recommend ordering through the McDonald’s app here unless you’re okay with wasting your time and possibly not even getting your...
Read moreCard machines always down, forgot my drink, and messed up order. Their lights are never on at night and appear to be closed. 3months later came here again, manager shook her head the entire order and was angry with us and refuses to do 2 separate orders in the car. My mother who works with me then said that she would just put it on one order and before my mother could finish her sentence the manager said no. Talked to the car ahead of us for 10minutes before answering the drive thru. waited another 10minutes for old patties. I currently work 3rd shift manufacturing and ive changed my 30minute break time multiple times in order to use my card at this location from 3am-4am and they say that it'll be up in 20minutes every time I've called within this range. My previous experience in the fast food industry on 3rd shift makes me question why they get so upset when i come to this location. These are just few problems we have had on our shift with this location. Our entire 3rd shift at RD Industries has had problems with them consecutively messing up orders, consistant rude behavior and slow service would be understandable if the food was made fresh given the time of night but typically is old and by my experience looks like no proper manager should allow food like that to be served to customers. I hope corporate gets a hold of this McDonald's and improves the management here so that we at RD Industries 3rd shift may enjoy our...
