My Way Lounge — Restaurant in Omaha

We didn't eat so not sure about the food, but the drinks were cold and the service was fast and friendly.

The best part by far was the atmosphere. We arrive and were served a shot and a beer each and walked to the back patio to enjoy the fire 🔥

In about 10 min a pair of very drunk women come in and are super cool and one was obviously in a fight with her spouse. The date I am with and one of the women left to powder their noses and I am left with the woman who was in the relationship. I asked if she wanted a smoke to calm down. She takes a hit and thanks me and says she doesn't want to offend my girlfriend and I explained it is our first date but we are both friendly and looking for a good conversation. She wouldn't mind us smoking. 30 seconds later the other woman (not my date) and a man enter the smoking patio, and he immediately runs up to me who was sharing a vape with his wife. 5 min of awkwardness ensues where this hubby acts aggro and makes an ass of himself over and over. my poor date finally comes back, being bewildered by the party crasher drunk hubby. We had gone to 2 other bars and NONE were as fun as this place!

Only complaint, could not lift the plastic to army crawl under to go outside 😭👎

A true gem hidden in the rough. Tucked behind a series of industrial looking buildings and storage houses is the plain, recessed facade of My Way. A simple and too small parking lot begets the bombastic inside. Immediately, you walk in to a large bar busy with bartenders surrounded by patrons producing a cacophony of laughter and conversation. To your right are the clean, updated (and albeit, tight) bathrooms and the game room. A fun, interesting display in the middle of the room is bordered by beerpong tables, darts and ping pong as well as other unexpected and equally thrilling activities. To your left are the pool tables and entrance to the covered patio. Of course, one would be remiss not to mention the rainbow glow washing across patio from the carefully placed lights. The bar is well stocked with many drinks from beers to seltzers to top shelf whiskey. With how fantastic this bar is, it's amazing they had any standing room at all! It was a great place to chill, it seemed cozy and quaint however when we first walked in there was broken glass by the ping pong table and my husband stood in line for 15 minutes to be told no card transactions. Then we had to get cash and turn around and wait in line again for drinks. No servers were walking around cleaning tables or checking on guests. Now, I definitely understand ever since COVID hit that the service industry has taken a huge hit, however if you want your business to stand out, please make sure it's clean and put together a little bit more.
