Grant St. Bar — Restaurant in Omaha

A nice sized bar, with a neighborhood vibe, and a family-owned feeling. It is cozy, but not claustrophobic: friendly, but not overly familiar, spacious, but not empty. All in all, a wonderful place to go for drinks for a friend's birthday, or play some pool. The prices are a little higher than expected, but they're reasonable. One downside is the lack of interior lightning. Only one table had lighting above it, and the rest are dark once the sun goes down. Came in around 5:45. Went to order and found out yhat they were out of cheese, out of lemenade, and they no longer serve tacos even though they were on the menu. Heard a fridge went down earlier. Sorry to hear that. Service sucked. Asked more than once for something. Looked like the staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Where is bar rescue when you need them? Help...

It's FREEZING inside this bar, but that's to be expected with this weather. Parmean garlic wings weren't the best but the Stinging honey were really good. Wings are charbuffed style, so don't look for breading. Feies were really good, like they had extra crunch, beer cheese was only ok, but good enough for dipping. Bartender was great and helpful.
