Ordered a meal around 10 30 a.m. today and the food was good but the service was so rude and unacceptable that I had to write a review. The older white woman took my order shes has glasses and is a very decent employee I always look forward to seeing her because shes not rude and knows how to smile. However the young white lady who handed me my food did so in the most rude way possible. She made me feel as if i did something wrong for being there. No nametag so i couldnt tell you the name must not be policy to identify who is serving you. I asked for 5 ketchups and with no eye contact or verbal communacation she quickly threw them in the bag pushed it towards me and didnt look me in the face no eye contact no thank you and no smile. She then ran over to the drivethrough window whispering to the employee standing there and all of the sudden this young lady had the nerve to start staring at me constantly while im sure speaking ill about me in front of me directly to other employees! A moment prior she refused to make eye contact while handing me my order then quickly walked away to turn around and start staring at me/ non the less I was not thanked for stopping in I actually in fact yelled out as i was leaving thank you guys have a great day! Shouldnt it be the other way around? Typically I go anywhere and am thanked for being a customer or greeted at least to have a great day. I was the only customers in the store besides one other person. I advice you check the cameras around 10:30 a.m. september 4th 2024 which will show which employee handed me the food and also will show her additude and actions following as well as showing im the only customer if not one other in the store. This young lady never wears her name tag and its becoming a persistent issue with her rude behaviors she never seems to smile and you can literally feel the negative energy radiate from her. I would not want my food handled by someone with such poor customer service a 2nd time. Ive spent upwards of 1000 dollars at this loaction this year alone and have saved my receipts as im someone who organizes all my money spent to know its accounted for. In any case the employees know me by name becuase I eat here constantly and a handful of them hate to see me come in the store becuase I dont accept rude behaviors and poor quality when im now paying more than ever it seems the higher the wages the lower the customer service! My most recent run in before today was on August 3rd the same day I found my mother dead as a young child. I came to get a crispy combo and the bigger young hispanic lady who in the past refused to serve me becuase i was short one penny literlly one cent was taking my order. She became a problen again months later couldnt figure out simple math and now this time I had all the money and was shorted some change back. If thats not enough I sat for 20 minutes watched people come in and order and leave as i continued to sit patiently. At one point she grabbed my order looked at me and the guy who ordered after i did and hands him my order. All while she continued to stare at me and ignore me. After 20 minutes I asked for the manger and he refunded my money and gave me the correct order. The young Hispanic lady couldnt apologize either which I find rude. She would have let me sit there for an hour waiting for the order she handed out of mine. I'm on my lunch break and I'm in a rush I asked for three strips crispy I watched them put it in the bag through the window and sit there for 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. I simply asked is there a reason that I had to wait 5 minutes with my food sitting right there and then I asked the manager if I could please have a fry to be compensated for wasting my time I also told him there is an entire line behind me of cars when I pulled up it was just me. He looks behind me says yeah there is a full line I said okay would you please help me out with a fry for wasting my time and making me wait an extra 5 minutes and Patrick looks me dead in the eyes and says no I can't. I know how much you can throw away at the end of the night but you can't compensate me for wasting my time once again not to mention there was two or three people that I spoke with aside from Patrick so there's a whole entire team of people miscommunicating while mind you I was the only one in line when I pulled up. I got home checked my food immediately called and informed them that with my food wasn't even hot when I order extra crispy it stays hot for at least 10 or 15 minutes I only live across the street so not only was I not given what I paid for I was disrespected and then when I asked for compensation I'm told no and then when I asked to be refunded I'm told I have to come back out of my way what's the receipt and the food. So what is my compensation for being treated poorly? Simply wasting more of my time without any guarantee to get the food I paid for fresh the first time around! Tamara needs to fire someone or be fired herself. It's not that hard to treat people decently especially people from the neighborhood that eat here consistently like myself since the location opened. Tonight I met Tim whom is a manager for the Maple street location. Tim was very personal to every one of his customers, and it was immediately obvious to us he is very dedicated to his career, and in turn surely does a great job helping leading his Team.
Steven came to visit us and he was a pleasure to visit with. He is a natural at making customers feel welcome right away. I always say surround yourself with great people, and so far I’ve gotten the impression that this location does just that.
On our initial arrival we saw a table being exited that we really wanted. It was a corner booth that would be perfect so as to corral the kids.
So, after asking Tim if we could get it cleaned off; an employee named Justice was quick to clean the recently vacated table. Justice was super nice and carried himself as a positive person.
What a great table it was! It was even large enough for my tribe!
There were many workers present that sadly I didn’t catch the names of, but I can say they all worked exceptionally well together.
The location was very clean including the restrooms which I highly prioritize in a food establishment. Working in this industry when I was younger I learned that restrooms are indicative of what the public doesn’t see behind the scenes.
Our food was hot, fresh, and quick overall for 9 meals. I liked the neat presentation that was done right.
Look at the chicken I tore apart glistening in the picture! It was so hot and moist. I believe that the prices are reasonable considering the quality of food I have received in comparison to competitors.
