I recently visited Romeo’s Mexican Food and Pizza, and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. If you grew up eating canned goods, you might find this place appealing, but for those looking for authentic flavors, it falls short.

The jalapeños lacked any real flavor, and the rice was bland. The iceberg lettuce felt like a filler rather than a fresh ingredient. The chicken appeared to be precooked and simply warmed up, which was disappointing. To top it off, the tamales (not pictured) tasted like a reheated frozen dinner, the cheese spilled onto everything reminding me of Velveeta cheese. Definitely not what I was hoping for in a Mexican restaurant.

On a positive note, the beans and fajita beef were decent, and the portion sizes were generous. However, the overall experience did not leave a lasting impression.

This was my first visit, and I don’t think I’ll...

Food was just ok used to eat at Romeo’s All the time it’s just really not the same anymore the tamales are tasteless and mush the enchiladas used to be the best they just wasn’t very good seemed not fresh, even had to send my margarita back because once blended it had no taste just tasted like ice , service was ok but when asked about the sauces if spicy was told she didn’t know she appeared to have worked here a long time we will not go back we paid and tipped but it’s a waste forgot photos of food because was not memorable wish they could get back to how they used to be , and then the worst part is they shove everyone eating into same area and said don’t know if we have servers in other areas , the servers was standing around with covid , flu, colds. Geez spread people out ! Won’t be...

We arrived as we usually do on Sundays and was greeted with the rudest, most horrible hostess I have ever encountered. They were short staffed and apparently not allowing groups more than 8, while we had 9. We offered to split into 2 groups and be seated separately. Instead of working with us, she was so rude. Got an attitude and started talking to her co-worker as if we weren't there. She told her co-worker that they would just sit everyone else and we can just wait a very long time. I have NEVER encountered such rudeness and if she would have let us speak to a manager, I would have. Needless to say not only did we leave, we will never visit that location ever again. I would recommend that anyone going make sure you have less than 8 in your party and pray that hostess...

We recently started coming to Romeos. What we've found is inexpensive, really good, and really fast Mexican food. It's not as authentic as street tacos in Mexico, but it will satisfy most of us. Way better than any fast food chain. Enchiladas are big with tons of sauce and tasty meat.
