This hospital is amazing! I broke my fibula ice skating the day before Thanksgiving. After receiving the worst care at Methodist ER I searched for an orthopedic specialist and came across OrthoNebraska. That Friday I went to their urgent care and they gave me a boot to wear until I could get in to see a specialist. They were able to schedule me an appointment with Dr. Grosshans that Monday and I was scheduled for surgery the very next afternoon. First of all I just want to say that Dr. Grosshans and his P.A are wonderful. They have the best bedside manner and explained my injury thoroughly as well as how they were going to repair it. At the hospital I was treated like a queen. Every single nurse, doctor, anesthesiologist, tech, and staff member was so kind. They made me feel at ease and were just such a delight to be around. They made sure I was warm enough, always asking if I needed help with anything, the list goes on. After surgery my nurse fed me crackers to help with nausea and immediately helped get my pain under control. Then they offered me bagels and anything I wanted to drink. I was amazed at the level of care and compassion they provided. I would highly recommend this hospital as well as their doctors offices and urgent care clinics! 10/10! If any staff that was involved in taking care of me read this Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!. Yall are wonderful and I appreciate everything you have...
Read moreThis hospital and the physicians working there are an arch-typical example of ¨for-profit¨ medical care: my mother-in-law was told by the physicians at the hospital that they will be no problem for Medicare to allow a 3-4 week long stay at the rehabilitation center - she was informed about it in advance and, again, 1 day before the surgery. It was critical because she lives alone and her family lives abroad. Immediately following the surgery, she was told that Medicare did not allow the rehabilitation stay. I consider it as a CLEAR EXAMPLE WHERE THE ¨FOR PROFIT¨ MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT (I cannot call it a ¨healthcare¨ since it is NOT) took advantage of an elderly person to extract tens of thousands of $$$ from Medicare and then throw her to the street with no obligations thereafter. SHAME ON SO-CALLED ¨MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT¨ WHERE NO ONE CARES and the Hippocrates oath is long forgotten! I will make sure that me and my family will do everything possible to make sure that people know about such an attitude of this ¨hospital¨ personnel. In addition, I will also do everything possible to ensure that the reputation of this institution will get what...
Read moreMy retiring ortho doc told me when it was time for my 2nd knee replacement I needed to see Dr Stojanovich. I searched for him and found Ortho Nebraska. I am now 2 weeks post surgery and I could not let this experience go unnoticed. I never leave reviews but Ortho Nebraska has exceeded my expectations in every way. From clinic appts to surgery to Urgent Care and Physical Therapy it has been top notch! Professional, helpful, kind, supportive, knowledgeable and respectful describes every interaction I have had. My surgery went great, Dr Stojanovich is amazing. My initial recovery was a bit bumpy which led to an unexpected overnight stay and the hospital nurses were unmatched! So far my appts with Gretchen in Physical therapy has been the best PT experience I’ve had. Upon returning home from my surgery I received a card in the mail with personal to me comments from the team that cared for me. I have never been so impressed with an entire company in my life! Way to go Ortho Nebraska - I will share my experience...
